Good news, wanderers! Your favourite wallet-friendly airline, Scoot, is spreading its wings across Southeast Asia with new routes to Vietnam and Malaysia (it’s time to start packing and leaving your responsibilities behind).
On 3 July 2025, Scoot officially announced the launch of new flight services to Da Nang and Nha Trang in Vietnam, and Kota Bharu in Malaysia. Flights will be taking off progressively between October and November 2025.
Da Nang is a must-visit spot in Vietnam, with its beautiful beaches and natural attractions like the Marble Mountains. It’s also located near the UNESCO World Heritage site, My Son Sanctuary, and the ancient towns of Hoi An and Hue.
Expect three weekly flights to Da Nang on the Airbus A320 Family Aircraft, starting from 20 October 2025. This will progressively increase to daily flights by December 2025.
Further south in Vietnam, Nha Trang is the spot to be for beach parties and fresh seafood. Don’t forget to pack your sunscreen and party attire, because they’re known for their nightlife that just won’t quit.
Expect two weekly flights to Nha Trang on the Embraer E190-E2 Aircraft, starting from 21 November 2025. This will progressively increase to five weekly flights by January 2026.
Kota Bharu is Malaysia’s hidden gem, boasting gorgeous riverside mosques, royal palaces, and vibrant markets. Here, immerse yourself in traditional Malay culture, from Rebana Ubi (traditional drums) shows to Wayang Kulit (shadow puppetry) performances.
Expect two weekly flights to Kota Bharu on the E190-E2 Aircraft, starting from 26 October 2025.

But that’s not all — to meet the higher demand for air travel, Scoot is also increasing flight frequencies to Jakarta, Clark, Davao, Manila, Hat Yai, Perth, and Sydney.
To celebrate the launch of these new destinations, Scoot has limited-time promotional fares from 8 July 2025 to 13 July 2025. From just S$69, their mid-year sale offers one-way flights to over 60 cities, including Fuzhou, Sydney, and Chiang Mai.
