Spring is in the air, meaning hanami (the tradition of viewing flowers) is in full bloom.
While Singapore may not have sakura trees, Shaburi & Kintan Buffet is bringing the cherry blossom magic to you with their ever-popular Sakura Festival. Running until the end of May 2025, this all-you-can-eat feast is back with exciting new additions!
Salmon lovers, prepare yourselves. The free-flow salmon buffet is here, featuring a lineup of fresh sashimi, seared sushi, and crispy salmon katsu.

Out of the three choices, we liked the Basil Cheese Aburi Salmon Sushi Roll the most. The Salmon Sushi Roll was my second. The mayonnaise was stronger than my liking, so the Aburi Salmon Sushi Roll ended in third (everything was so good, though).

We knew we were going to love Mentai Aburi Salmon Don. Scoop up a spoonful of rice with the mentaiko creaminess that just goes so well with the salmon.

For a cosy, comforting bite, the Salmon & Vegetable Gratin is a solid choice. It’s creamy without being overwhelming, and the combination of broccoli, mushrooms, and salmon makes it a satisfying yet guilt-free pick.

And, of course, we cannot miss out on the iconic pink cheese soup. The blush-coloured shabu-shabu soup base is back, cheesier than ever, with the addition of shredded mozzarella cheese on the side.
Just add however much to suit your taste!

Need something to balance out all that richness? The Sakura Shrimp & Bamboo Rice is a light side that pairs beautifully with just about anything on the table.

That’s not all.
As if the feast wasn’t dreamy enough, Shaburi & Kintan now has a Pink Chocolate Fountain that will truly make your inner child scream with joy (or maybe just admin’s). You can now dip your favorite treats into the silky, strawberry-flavoured chocolate and bask in the sweetness.

If you’re still craving sweets, the Strawberry Matcha Tiramisu is a must-try. The matcha coating was a bit too bitter, but the luscious strawberry layers made up for it.

Oh, do also go for the Rare Cheesecake Shots. This is a drinkable cheesecake experience with refreshing konjac jelly (though we thought it tasted more like yoghurt).

And for a limited time, don’t miss out on the Pink Mont Blanc. This is a dreamy combination of sweet potato, white chocolate, and mixed berries ice-cream.

With such a variety of spring-inspired dishes, you know this buffet is going to be packed.
Whether you’re here for the endless salmon, the pink cheese soup, or the one-of-a-kind pink desserts, this is an experience you do not want to miss.
The Shabu Buffet starts from S$39.80 per person, while the Kintan Buffet starts from S$43.80. For the best of both worlds, opt for the Combo Buffet, starting from S$48.80. Do note that you will only get 90 minutes of dining.
Will you be heading down to feast on this pink-hued, salmon-filled extravaganza?
