As much as I love exploring Malaysia’s endless underrated deals and places from Johor Bahru to Melaka, sometimes the urge to travel a little further up north kicks in and I begin my hunt for gorgeous areas to tick off my to-visit list.
That is why when I found out about Son Tra Marina, it was impossible for me to not write about the beauty of this place. Located in Da Nang, Vietnam, this is the first tourist seaport in the area with European-inspired architecture.
It feels like a scene straight out of a painting, with the cute buildings and even dining chairs and tables being coated with the blue and white signature colours of Santorini, Greece that really adds to the atmosphere and aesthetic.
What’s more, the strategic geographical place of Son Tra Marina is on the port overlooking the city skyline of Da Nang. The cerulean skies and even blue-r waters provide a perfect backdrop for IG-worthy moments. For me, the aquatic landscape and concept is what adds to the experience of novelty.
I mean, do you not see this?
Absolutely gorgeous.
Aside from soaking in the pretty scenery, treat your tastebuds to delicious food and coffee prepared by the cafe itself. The unique design of this idyllic place sets the ambience for kicking back and chilling as you enjoy the sunrise or sunset.
Here’s a little secret from me: the best time for photographs is between 7–8am and 4–5pm. This would guarantee a beautiful golden ray with soft lighting that accompanies your pictures and accentuates the vibe.
Vietnam is known for its exotic culture, delicious food, and natural landscapes. With Son Tra Marina thrown into the mix, consider adding it to the list of places to visit when you are preparing for a long weekend or even a short trip!
