First Chatuchak Singapore, now this — Songkran Music Festival is back after three long years! (Sobs, nature is finally healing!)
For the uninitiated, Songkran is a traditional New Year’s national holiday typically marked by water fights and parades. The festival in Singapore will coincide with the same holiday period in Thailand, so it’ll be held on 14 and 15 April 2023 at Wild Wild Wet.
If you were to ask me, one main downside of most outdoor festivals here is the weather — it can get really, really hot. Since the Songkran Music Festival is held at a water park, that won’t be an issue here! Bust out your best dance moves at the Tsunami Pool with intense beats from international and local DJs.
With headliners like Amber Na (one of the best 100 female DJs globally!) and Dutch DJ Headhunterz, you can certainly expect to be enthralled all night long. Think bass-heavy beats, tech-house tracks and more — is there anything better to party to?
There will also be synchronised water jet and light displays, which is defo a step up from the visuals at other music festivals. Plus, all festival passes are inclusive of one Singha beer redemption per day, and you’ll also get same-day entry to the rides at Wild Wild Wet. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me!
If you get peckish after all that fun, indulge in some delectable Thai cuisine at Downtown East with popular options like Siam Square Mookata, Tuk Tuk Cha and more.
Early bird tickets for one day passes are priced from S$58 (until 28 February 2023), while two day passes are going for just S$98 (U.P. S$128). The event is expected to sell out fast, so get your tickets ASAP to avoid disappointment!
