It’s not everyday when two brands I love collide, and today, they’re uniting to bring us a collection that you will absolutely loaf. Italian sneaker brand Superga has joined forces with Tiong Bahru Bakery for this delicious new sneaker collaboration line.
Here’s a look at the three limited-edition high-top sneakers in varying shades of white.
Mini Croissant Motifs
If you woke up today and were wondering how to let people know that you’re a croissant fan without actually telling them, this pair of sneakers is your answer. With repeated mini croissant motifs across the canvas of the shoe, you’ll be receiving croissants for your birthday faster than you can say, “oui”.
Embroidered Patches
Make this your statement piece with adorable on-theme embroidered patches sewn into the sides as well as a fern green sole in the bakery’s signature colour way. To boot, there’s also an inspirational quote on the side of the shoe that reads, “a croissant a day keeps the doctor away”, and honestly, truer words have never been spoken.
Metallic Bread Tag Charm
This last one comes as a more muted iteration, but just as aptly-themed. The shoe’s upper features the bakery’s iconic aztec print in a subtle shade of white as well as a bread tag charm dangling from the side that’s reminiscent of the bread tags we’ve countlessly repurposed in our kitchens.
Special Superga x TBB Tab
All pairs feature a special Superga x TBB tab on the rear of the shoe to mark this special-edition collaboration.
Superga x TBB immersive cafe experience
With this collection dropping on 13 November 2021, the Superga store in Takashimaya Shopping Centre will also be hosting a unique immersive cafe experience in celebration of the launch. During this event, the store’s first 60 customers will be entitled to a free croissant and juice.
The sneakers are priced at S$119.90 each, and the collection will drop both online and in stores come 13 November 2021.
