4. Arbora

Not exactly a “rooftop bar” per se but Arbora provides one of Singapore’s most unique hilltop dining experiences high up on the peak of Mount Faber, enchanting you with distant views of the ocean. You can also catch occasional glimpses of fireworks blossoming in the night sky from neighbouring Sentosa.

You can spend a day frolicking in Sentosa and taking the cable car over to Mount Faber, before sitting down to dinner with botanical-inspired cocktails and elegantly plated pasta like Mushroom Ragout with Smoked Duck (S$22). 5. Mr Stork

6. LeVeL 33

While the list mainly comprises fancy cocktail bars and lounges, LeVeL 33 is a unique entry that focuses on beer (it’s the world’s highest urban microbrewery). So if you’re a fan of beer, there’s not a more snazzy place for you to grab your beers than at this rooftop bar that offers a spectacular view of Marina Bay.

Not only can you expect the freshest, best-quality booze coming straight out of their kegs in the back but you can also pair them with oysters at S$30.90 for three oysters and a glass of beer during happy hour. You can have the same combo for S$40.90 as well if you want to swap out the hops for some champagne bubbles.

7. MY PATIO – Itaewon Vibe

Hidden away behind a yellow door are a rooftop restaurant, bar, and beer garden MY PATIO, which looks like something straight out of Itaewon. Helmed by the team behind KKO KKO NARA, this chill and cosy speakeasy in Tanjong Pagar is an ideal spot to catch a gorgeous sunset while knocking back ice-cold beers with your drinking pals. 

Enjoy a rotating selection of over 40 unique Korean and international craft beers, soju, and makgeolli here, alongside Korean comfort food like Fried Chicken, Tteokbokki, and Kimchi Pancake. You’ll definitely want to book a trip to Korea after this — don’t say we didn’t warn you.

8. Spago

There is probably no place with a better fusion of scenic views and quality fine cuisine than the famous Spago, perched up high at a nosebleeding height at level 57 of MBS. The stunning panoramic views of the city and the azure bodies of water from up high are hard to top.

More surprisingly, you can breathe in this luxurious view for just S$65 for a 3-course Prix Fixe set lunch in the Spago Dining Room, perhaps one of the more affordable luxury dining experiences you can find in Singapore. 

Alternatively, head on over to Bar & Lounge for an intimate get-together after lunch for handcrafted cocktails such as the Love You Long Time (S$27) and The Garden of Eden (S$27).

If you enjoy being surrounded by sleek, towering buildings while having a clear view of the water, Artemis Grill, with its sweeping views from the 40th floor of CapitalGreen Tower is sure to tickle your fancy, especially with the swanky decor and an ornately dressed-up alfresco area where you can feel the wind in your hair.

The menu is Mediterranean-inspired, bringing plenty of hearty and clean flavours to the table to pair with the view. 10. Monti

While Monti is situated at a lower vantage point than most other rooftop bars in Singapore, it is one of the few that gives you unhindered views of Marina Bay Sands and the skyline from the foot up, sitting right on the periphery of the Marina.

You won’t find a better view to pair with Italian food in Singapore. Order the Communal Set Menu, which comprises antipasti, mains, and dessert for sharing, so you can slowly nibble away while enjoying your night, be it by catching fireworks or just bathing in the glorious nighttime glow of the skyline.

11. Potato Head Singapore

The newest entrant on this list is Stratos Rooftop Bar, a breezy “sanctuary beneath the stars” on the top of the National Design Centre. It’s centrally located, yet away from the daily hustle and bustle, making it an ideal spot for those looking to hide from the crowds. 

You can find an extensive selection of seafood-centric bites like Japanese Oysters (S$4 on Tuesdays) and Seafood in a Bowl (S$88 per pax), featuring a seafood-in-a-bag-style assortment of clams, crabs, mussels, prawns, crayfish and more — depending on what’s freshest that day.

\You may know SKAI as one of the restaurants with the best views in Singapore, sitting at level 70 of Swissotel the Stamford. At this height, you can get the sharpest, crispest views of everything in Singapore, unobstructed. The same goes for its (alcoholic) counterpart SKAI Bar. 

It’s a waste not to indulge in the best when you’re here with such a stellar view, so you can get your credit cards out and treat yourself to your best tai tai life with their Saturday High Tea (S$78/pax) or indulge in a bottle of French rosé — SKAI Bar prides itself on being the first Rosé Bar in the city, after all. ⁣⁣⁣Hey those prices, for that view? 14. FIRE @ 1-ATICO

Found all the way up the top of ION Orchard, Fire doesn’t exactly fall under the “rooftop bars” category, but it’s still a nice place to catch up over some good food while going dizzy from the breathtaking views up at the pinnacle of Orchard.

More interestingly, Fire is one of the few places that serve up authentic Argentinian food in Singapore. With a rather affordable 3-course set lunch at S$58++, you can get a taste of that hearty Argentinian spirit with dishes driven by fresh produce from South America such as the Patagonia Red Prawns “Parilla” and Wood-fired Wagyu Hanging Tender. Pair your meal with an Argentine or Nikkei-inspired cocktail, and you’re all set.

Folks that frequent the enigmatic award-winning speakeasy bar The Other Room may be familiar with its tropical counterpart — The Other Roof. You can take a seat at the sleek and stylish bar counter, or do what the regulars do — unwind at the open-air terrace overlooking the streets of Chinatown, which also offers pretty decent views of the city skyline.

Order a round of tapas-style bar bites, from fresh oysters to juicy sliders, along with some of their tiki-inspired cocktail creations. The pineapple and black tea-infused Serenitea is a comforting warm hug in a cup you won’t be able to get enough of.

22. Wiped Out Bar 

Wiped Out Bar in Beauty World Centre is not your ordinary drinks stall, given that it boasts a breezy industrial-style alfresco seating area with spectacular views (especially at golden hour). 

Bottled beers are priced at S$5 during Happy Hour, which happens from opening till 7.30pm daily. Otherwise, beer on tap and bottles are priced at S$10 and below, making this one of the most affordable and scenic spots to make merry.

Although the bar itself sells light bites like Fried Chicken Bao and Mala Fries, patrons are allowed to order food from other stalls in Beauty World Food Centre, so you can choose to indulge in your favourite claypot rice, Indian curry, or kimchi pancakes.
