The Punggol Regional Library will have five storeys, each catered to a different age group within the community. If you love studying in the library, you’ll be pleased to know that there’s a special Study Zone at the third level — no more sitting uncomfortably on the floor to do your work.

Also on the same level is the dedicated Teenspace which will host hands-on workshops and talks based on trending topics for teens to get them interested and engaged in reading. Here, you will also get to check out other informative exhibits and displays.

Another special feature at this library is the dedicated co-working space at level four for entrepreneurs, aspiring business owners and freelancers. If you need a change in environment during your work-from-home days — or want to enjoy some free aircon while you get some work done — there are working pods, meeting pods and reservable seats to provide you with a conducive working space.

Level four is also where you get to engage in different workshops and masterclasses conducted by industry professionals.

Kids can look forward to having fun here as well as there is a special Toy Library dedicated to children six years old and below. The toy library will offer toys, educational aids, puppets, and costumes that help engage your child in various types of play — creative, dramatic, or sensory.

There is also a special TinkerTots area, where children can engage in meaningful play with educational toys. The library will also host monthly thematic building challenges as well as DIY library adventure sheets to help your child build on their creativity — quite literally.

The Spark!Lab is another tinkering space where children aged seven to 12 can participate in hands-on activities, with some help from their parents, and create innovative solutions to different challenges.

After all the exploring and tinkering at the keys getting work done, you’re bound to get hungry. Thankfully, the library also has an in-house cafe, Artease. You can recharge after putting your brain on overdrive with some hearty mains, light snacks, sweet desserts, and refreshing drinks.

Need a conducive place to get some work done? Head over to Punggol Regional Library for some quiet time!
