If you and your friends happen to be around the Bugis area, look no further than Tian Xi Hotpot & BBQ, a Chinese restaurant specialising in an affordable all-you-can-eat hotpot and BBQ buffet.

Tucked away in Sultan Gate, the two-storey air-conditioned restaurant isn’t hard to find — just look for the large, brightly lit “天禧” sign.

Although the buffet is priced at S$25.80++ from Monday to Thursday, and S$28.80++ from Friday to Sunday (including PH and eve of PH), you’ll need to fork out an additional S$8 for the soup bases, with up to four flavours to choose from, such as Sichuan Spicy, Tomato Soup, Laksa Soup, and Pickled Fish, amongst others.

Take your pick from an array of over 50 ingredients, including crowd favourites like Sliced Pork Belly, Marinated Fish Slices, Sliced US Beef, Cumin Chicken, Prawns, Scallop, and Abalone Slices.

Pair ’em with a wide variety of vegetables, mushrooms, beancurd dishes, and rice or noodles, along with side dishes like Fried Mantou, Pumpkin Pancake, and Dumplings.

Feel the need to indulge? Treat yourself to premium add-ons in the form of Superior Beef Slices (S$15), Handmade Shrimp Paste (S$5.50), Mala Beef (S$4), and Scallops with Garlic Sauce (S$4.50). If you’re a fan of innards, why not go all out on the good stuff, like Pig Brains (S$4), Beef Tripe (S$5), and Fresh Aorta (S$4)?

Alternatively, we recommend making it extra value-for-money by going for the Unlimited Package priced at just S$15. Now, that’s a good deal.

The “all-you-can-eat” deal also applies to condiments, drinks, and even desserts like Mango Pomelo Sago and Fruit Coconut Pudding, so feel free to order as many as you’d like — as long as it’s within the two-hour dine-in time, of course.
