Run by the team behind South Union Park, Eleven Strands and Restaurant Mia (with no relation to Tok Tok Indonesian Soup House and Tok Tok Indonesian Restaurant whatsoever), Tok Tok Beef Soup is a pretty straightforward F&B concept serving warm bowls of flavourful beef soup.
While the price of a bowl of beef soup might not be the most affordable at S$10.90, their beef soup is well worth the price as the huge portions make it well worth your money, and are good for splitting a meal with friends.
You’ll be able to choose what kind of noodles you want with your beef soup, with a choice of Kway Teow, La Mian, Ban Mian or plain rice. The La Mian and the Kway Teow noodles are especially popular, as they’re the most common noodles made with beef soup. La Mian has a ramen-like texture and is made by hand-pulling dough, while the rice flour-based Kway Teow is a lot softer and flatter. Regardless of what you choose, both rice and noodles pair exceptionally well with the soup!
Every bowl comes with an assortment of beef tendons, but here are some of the delicious bowls worth trying: Sliced Beef Noodle Soup (S$10.90), Beef Ball Noodle Soup (S$10.90), and The Ultimate Trio Beef Bowl (S$16.90), which gives you every kind of beef on the menu, well worth your buck!
Apart from beef soup, their Truffle Konbu Sweet Potato Fries (S$3.90) are incredibly addictive, and go great with the beef soup bowls. If you want something less filling, they also offer rice bowls with proteins like Braised Pork Belly, Beef Cheek, and more.
