If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I can never get enough of fried chicken. And if I can get my hands on fried chicken that’s affordable and of good quality? A thousand times, yes.
Got a craving while out and about in Ang Mo Kio? Head straight to Winglicious, a small speciality stall dishing up fried chicken wings that won’t break the bank.

Crowds typically flock to the La Kopi coffeeshop for mookata, but why not say “wing it” and try something new?

As its name suggests, Winglicious specialises in Korean-style fried chicken wings (which I have a soft spot for). Give me crispy and tender chicken tossed in a sweet, spicy, and/or garlicky sauce anytime.
Chicken wings in unique flavours

There are four flavours of wings available, all priced at S$8 for 6pcs and S$15 for 12pcs. The Pork Floss Wings are perhaps the most unique offering on the menu — think crispy wings doused in a spicy, mildly tangy sauce and umami pork floss.

The other options are equally tasty-sounding. I mean, how can one say no to Salted Egg Wings, Sweet & Spicy Wings, or the Signature Wings, which are topped with peanuts and dried chilli (akin to that of Sichuan la zi ji)?

If you’re still feeling peckish, pair your chicken with a small selection of sides, including the Tobiko Ham Potato Salad (S$5), Bacon Ham Potato Salad (S$5), and Truffle Fries (S$5).
Orders can be placed by contacting the stall at +65 9093 0377.
Have your chicken wings and eat them too — a wing wing situation for all.
