We may have moved past the coconut shake craze, but Coconut is still king at Yevolution, a speciality dessert shop in Telok Ayer that’ll have you going coconuts for, well, coconut.
Located along the air-conditioned stretch of eateries in Far East Square, the speciality dessert kiosk is a perfect pit stop for those seeking respite from the heat.
The signature Coconut Panna Cotta is prepared using the “freshest and most premium quality Thai Pandan Fragrant Young Coconut without adding a drop of water”, and paired with handmade toppings and fruits.
Most will find themselves gravitating towards the Yummy Yammi CPC Mochi (S$8.60) which features creamy yam puree, coconut panna cotta, and a layer of chewy mochi served in an actual coconut (with coconut flesh you can scrape off and eat). Think Teochew-style yam paste (orh nee) taken to the next level.
Other enticing options include the likes of Oreo Wonderland (S$7.60), Hearty Oat & Nuts (S$8), and the decadent Durian Fantastic (S$13) topped with fresh durian.
Panna cotta aside, Yevolution boasts an extensive beverage menu that extends beyond the usual coconut juice and shakes.
Standouts from the Coconut Milk Series include the Coconut Callebaute Chocolate Latte (S$5.90) and foam-topped Coconut Cloud Caffe Latte (S$6.80). Why not go for a good ol’ flavoured coconut shake, like the Cendol Coconut Shake (S$5.50) and Coconut Thai Milk Tea Shake (S$4.50)?
If coconut ain’t calling your name, opt for the refreshing non-coconut options like the Mango Lychee Pop Cheezo (S$5.50), Genki Grapefruit Fizzy (S$4.90), and Signature Vitamin C Fruity Tea (S$5.50).
All beverages can be jazzed up with add-ons like Lychee Pop (+S$0.50), Mango (+S$1), and Coconut Ice Cream (+$0.50), so feel free to go all out and concoct the drink of your dreams.
Feeling peckish? Choose from a small selection of savoury nibbles, like Thai Fish Cake (S$5.50) and Otak Cuttlefish Ball (S$5.50).
