Korean food lover or not, you’ve probably come across the perpetually long queues at Ajumma’s (especially at their Funan outlet).
And if you’ve always wondered “what’s the hype?“, the popular casual Korean restaurant chain is best known for its hearty (and not too pricey) stews, pancakes, bulgogi, rice bowls, and of course, ramyeon, all served in generous portions.
However, did you know that they also have a Ramyeon Weekday Rush Hour promotion from 3pm–5pm on weekdays (Mondays to Fridays)?
That’s right — if you pop by during these irregular post-lunch hours, you’ll get to enjoy a tasty set meal consisting of Korean ramyeon (with three different flavours to choose from), a choice of canned drink, and four refillable side dishes for just S$9.90 (U.P. S$13.40). Very value-for-money.
You won’t go wrong with the Kimchi Ramyeon (U.P. S$10.50), as it is chock full of ingredients like chicken bulgogi, kimchi, tofu, enoki mushrooms, and an onsen egg. Slurp!
Otherwise, go for the comforting Beef Ramyeon (U.P. S$10.50), topped with tender beef bulgogi, or the Spicy Ramyeon, fiery noodles with sausages, roasted seaweed, cucumbers, and a fried egg that’s bound to be a hit with all my fellow Korean fire noodle fanatics.
Oh, and naturally, you’d also want to load up on unlimited sides of kimchi, pickled radish, creamy corn salad, and seasoned seaweed.
This promotion is currently available at all four Ajumma’s outlets (Funan, Waterway Point, Bukit Panjang Plaza, and PLQ Mall) for dine-in only, so the next time you find yourself needing a late afternoon budget-friendly ramyeon fix, you know where to go!
