There’s just something about animal cafes that never gets old, as evident by the number of animal cafes we have here in Singapore. If you’ve been to the other dog and cat cafes in Singapore and can’t quite get enough of spending time with these cute and cuddly babies, here’s another place to visit – Alyssadolls Cattery.
Located at Chinatown Point, this cattery specialises in bigger pedigree cats (bigger in size compared to our local domesticated cats – or Lion City Kitties), namely Ragdolls, British Long Hair and British Short Hair cats.
“Ragdolls are one of the largest domesticated cats with semi-long and silky coats. Patient, gentle, calm, quiet and loving, their name was also derived from the tendency of cats from the original breeding stock to go limp and relaxed when picked up!”
“One of the oldest recognised cat breeds in the world, the British Shorthair is the pedigreed version of the traditional British domestic cat with the most common colour being “British Blue”. They also have nice plush coats with a rounded body that feels almost like a little teddy bear in cat form.”
Super fluffy and friendly, these gorgeous felines are extremely photogenic and well-socialised cats that will have you falling in love with their adorable personalities. All you need to do is book an appointment (S$15) with them, and spend a fun hour and a half with these lovable silly kitties as they do what cats do – nap, play, explore and cuddle with their human visitors.
