What’s a better way to de-stress after than by interacting with some seriously adorable animals? Though there aren’t as many animal cafes in Singapore as compared to other countries like South Korea and Taiwan, there are still several pretty good ones that can help fill the space in our animal-lovin’ hearts — with some that you might not have even heard of.
If you’re in need of some serious cuddle time, here are 12 animal cafes and more in Singapore where you can get up close to the cutest creatures!
1. Chow Cute Cafe
Hidden within Seletar Aerospace, Chow Cute Cafe is an animal cafe housing chow chows, a samoyed as well as an adorably unique chow chow and german shepherd mix.
The lovable doggos will come out to play at selected times of the day — but don’t worry, you can go to them instead outside of those times in their dedicated room. The cafe is also pet-friendly, so you’ll probably see a bunch of other furbabies as well.
If you’re a lover of chonky dogs, then you should probably put Chow Cute Cafe on your list.
For all the feline fans out there, you’ll be more than happy to know about Catopia — a cat cafe run by a dedicated team of cat lovers. In fact, they’re so passionate about providing good care and safe environments to cats that they even run a blog dedicated to educating others on cat behaviours and care.
There are several resident cats at the cafe, and they all have their own quirks and personalities so you’ll have a really fun time interacting with them and getting to know each cat’s unique characteristics.
Entry fees to Catopia start at S$13 for the first hour and come with a standard drink.
3. Paws Claws Petstore
If you love floofy cats, you’ll definitely have to check out Paws Claws Petstore — a cat cafe where you’ll be able to meet and cuddle with majestic Ragamuffin kitties (which you don’t get to see as often in Singapore!).
The interior of the cafe is very spacious and clean, making it a really conducive space for you to interact with the fluffy fur babies.
Entry fees begin at S$12 for the first hour, but do note that come August, the entry fees will be raised (so if you’re looking for the best deal, it’s best to visit ASAP!).

4. Hay Dairies
For those looking for something slightly different — you can interact with some bleatin’ adorable goats at Hay Dairies, Singapore’s only goat farm.
Here, you’ll be able to interact with over 800 goats from around the world such as feeding them and petting them. You can also observe the goats getting milked and bring home your very own fresh goat milk, soap and other souvenirs.
If you’re someone who appreciates the occasional getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you should probably book a farm visit here for an idyllic afternoon. (And perhaps consider exploring more that the Kranji Countryside has to offer!)
5. Cat Paradise
Cat Paradise is Singapore’s first-ever cageless cat adoption centre — and with an entry fee of S$15, you’ll be able to snuggle and play with their family of rescued cats and feed them as well (the entry fee comes with free treats!).
Who knows, maybe one of these little cuddle bugs will tug on your heartstrings and join you as the latest addition to your family!
6. The Cat Museum
For those who are looking for a more educational experience on top of some cuddle time, check out The Cat Museum — where you’ll be able to learn a little more about the history of our local kitties.
Filled with art and all sorts of little knick-knacks inspired by our favourite felines, The Cat Museum is a dream come true for cat lovers. And of course, you’ll also be able to meet and interact with some adorable cats that are available for adoption.
7. What The Pug
If you love derpy doggos, this one’s for you — What The Pug is a dog cafe dedicated to our favourite loaves of love, the pug.
With almost cartoon-like faces and super animated excitement, the pugs are definitely going to steal your heart as you play with them in the cosy interior of the cafe.
Entry fees begin at S$20, and comes with a drink and photo.

8. We are the Furballs
We are the Furballs (WTF) is a dog cafe with puppers packed with personality. With friendly staff and even friendlier dogs, this is a haven that you won’t want to leave after stepping in.
Situated at Bugis+, this spacious cafe oozes Muji vibes. Wooden crates and comfy corners line up against white clean walls, providing a minimalistic yet farm-like ambience. These absent-minded puppers may also seem aloof in the beginning, but wait till you enter with some dog treats (S$3) — you’ll instantly become the most popular person in the room!
Even though the cafe is still open for petting sessions, no food will be served during this period until further notice. Customers will still get complimentary drinks, but it’ll only be in the form of canned drinks for takeaways only.
At this cafe, spot Waffles and his cute corgi butt straddling down the hallway; Buibui, the french bulldog with puppy eyes too cute to resist; Mochi, the shy and adorable maltese, and many more. You can also train your fur friends to perform simple tricks like “sit”, “paw” or “bang” — just don’t forget to reward them afterwards!
9. Meomi Cat Cafe
If you’re a cat lover, you’re going to love Meomi Cat Cafe. This chill cafe hosts 7 beautiful felines with a whole lot of affection.
Get snuggly with these gentle cats or give them some soothing head rubs. These cats love to be around humans during playtime. Some active kitties will jump around like little hunters on cat stands and furniture, making it great entertainment for cat lovers. And if you wish to get in on the fun and play with them, you’re more than welcome to borrow some cat toys!
10. Wildflower Studio
Less conventional compared to other cat cafes, Wildflower Studio is a home-based art jamming cafe that allows you to hang out with cats. They’re only open on weekends, and offer sessions to both adults and children on separate days. Essential equipment like paintbrushes, canvas and paint would all be provided by the home studio cafe.
The best part of this experience is having these kitties snuggling up to you while you’re working on that inner Picasso. Art jamming and cats? Sounds like an awesome date idea to me.
PS: They also run a cat fostering programme and help socialise feral cats so these babies can have a chance at a forever home. If you’re considering getting a cat, their fostered kitties are available for adoption too!
11. The Cat Cafe
Home to 29 rescued cats, this bright and airy cafe has two outlets. There are a total of 14 cats at its Bugis outlet and 15 at its Rail Mall outlet. The kindness they provide to these sweethearts makes this noble cause truly worth supporting.
The Cat Cafe also provides the cats with plenty of space to run about and darker spaces for them to snooze. It’s a friendly and healthy environment for the adorable feline, but do remain gentle and patient with the cats.
Customers are allowed to pat the cats and play with these nimble little ninjas. With so many cute cats and distinct personalities, it’s bound to delight you and your friends.
12. Jurong Frog Farm
Here’s a special mention: for those feeling a tad more adventurous, check out Jurong Frog Farm — Singapore’s only heritage frog farm. While they might not be furry and cuddly creatures like our doggos and kitties – froggos can also be cute, and here, you can embark on tours that allow you to interact with a myriad of frogs like feeding them and catching them.
This might sound a little morbid after just interacting with the frogs, but you’re also able to sample some frog meat as well. (Although if you’re faint-hearted and want to be able to continue enjoying your favourite frog porridge, you might maybe want to sit this one out!)
There you have it, the ultimate list of animal cafes in Singapore for a great time with some of the most adorable animals! If you’re heading down to visit any of the places, do remember to plan ahead and book a timeslot just in case to avoid disappointment!
