We had the opportunity to try out their hand-poured candle-making activity. Say goodbye to boring storebought candles, because you can now create one-of-a-kind candles with a unique design and scent.

At Art Werkx, the sky’s truly the limit.

Choose from the typical basic candle jar (S$36) and big candle jar (S$42). We opted for the tall glasses (S$48) for that magical cocktail vibe.

You can also choose between clear or transparent wax or even a combination of both.

There’s also a curated collection of toppings available at additional costs. We were particularly drawn to the dried flowers (S$1.50 per scoop), gemstones (S$3 per scoop), and sea shells (S$3 per scoop).

Other popular craft activities are soap-making (starting from S$36), genuine leather crafting (starting from S$39), and mosaic tray crafting (starting from S$42).

Each step is guided and as first-timers, the process was surprisingly easy.

It’s also highly engaging as we were able to melt the wax, add the dye and essential oils of our pick, and assemble our decorations.

We had the most fun customising our candles (these are the drinks I would serve in a whimsical fairy-themed garden cafe).

While waiting for the wax layers to cool down, sip on their in-house drinks. There’s an extensive food and drinks menu, including espresso-based drinks, milkshakes, pizzas and waffles.

Their Iced Hazelnut Latte (S$8) and Iced Salted Caramel Latte (S$8) are deluxe treats for sweet coffee lovers.

Savoury food options include the Sourdough Cheese Garlic Toast (S$5.50), Chunky Chicken Sandwich (S$13), and Beef Pepperoni Pizza (S$18).

Of course, if you’re craving a sweet treat, there’s also the Waffles with Maple Syrup (S$10).

Art Werkx also offers candle-making workshops for birthday celebrations and team bonding sessions. These workshops teach you to make more complicated candles resembling sodas and cakes (honestly too cute to burn).
