An afternoon spent with friends, gelato, and matcha already sounds like a matcha made in heaven, but add in flowers, and you have the perfect date.
On 7 June 2025 and 8 June 2025 only, popular gelato spot Sweet Cheeks is collaborating with Floraisons.co to bring you Bloom & Bites, a floral arrangement workshop.
If that’s not intriguing enough, each bouquet is tailored to your unique, individual personalities.
Workshops are available at S$36.90 per person, and each class is 90 minutes long.
Choose from either the 1:30 pm or 3:30 pm slot, but as always, fastest fingers first, because each class is limited to just 15 participants.
Before getting creative with your arrangement, take a fun personality quiz that determines which flowers you get to pick from.
The sky’s truly the limit, so pick as many stalks as your heart desires.
Facilitators are assigned to each table, so don’t worry about not having a green thumb.
While curating your special bouquet, Sweet Cheeks is here with specially curated treats.
We were served drinks in their iconic butt-shaped cups. While they were on the pricier end, we thought they were worth the money.
Chew on strawberry pulp in the Strawberry Matcha (S$9). Or, if you’re a coffee addict like me, you may prefer the Peach Rose Oolong Cold Brew (S$7).
Of course, Sweet Cheeks is a gelato shop, so complimentary ice cream is provided.
Unfortunately, walk-in customers for the floral workshop will not be given complimentary ice cream, so you should make a reservation in advance.
We tried the Pistachio Praline and Hazy Daze, an interesting mix of hojicha and banana. A single scoop costs S$5.50, but expect to top up more for their premium flavours.
With relaxing music playing in the background, this is the best opportunity for you to slow down with Mother Nature, drinks, and gelato.
