With National Day approaching, several Singapore eateries are launching festive menus inspired by local flavours. Among them, Burnt Ends Bakery and Meatsmith are each offering a special selection of classic Singaporean favourites, available only for a short time.
Burnt Ends Bakery

Last year’s National Day coffee drew on Kaya Toast, translating its familiar sweetness and toastiness into a coffee that coffee lovers could sip. This year, Clarified Ondeh Ondeh Coffee (S$10) reimagines Ondeh Ondeh for coffee lovers – coconut, gula melaka and pandan layered over Slayer Blend’s cold brew. Do note that this is only available in August, in-store at Burnt Ends Bakery @ Audi House of Progress and Dempsey.

The Curry Chicken Pie and Char Siew Polo Bun are small savoury bites that are perfect companions for your tea break.
Inspired by a Curry Puff, the Curry Chicken Pie (S$16) has tender chicken and potatoes in a fragrant curry, encased in flaky pastry. Pre-orders are open now on the website, with collection available from 3 August 2026 to 9 August 2026 at the Audi outlet, and 6 August 2026 to 9 August 2026 at the Dempsey outlet. Click here for pre-orders.
The Char Siew Polo Bun (S$12) has a buttery, crispy exterior and a sweet and savoury chicken char siew filling. If you’re a fan of Nasi Lemak but want it without the Nasi, try the Nasi Lemak Burger (S$18). Stacked with a crispy fried chicken and smothered in their in-house spicy sambal with fresh cucumbers and a thick egg for a satisfying bite.
Both the Curry Chicken Pie and Nasi Lemak Burger are available in-store from 3 August 2026 to 9 August 2026 at the Audi outlet, and 6 August 2026 to 9 August 2026 at the Dempsey outlet.
Meatsmith

The Smoked Bak Kut Teh Ribs (S$34) are slow-smoked and seasoned with white pepper and herbal spices, retaining the comforting flavours of Singapore’s white pepper Bak Kut Teh. Available in-store at Meatsmith or order via Meatsmith Xpress for the entire month of August.

If you’re craving a decadent and indulgent Philly cheesesteak here in Singapore, Meatsmith is taking you straight to Philadelphia. This August, they are introducing something special – the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich (S$25), available for a limited period only. It’ll be served in a toasted hoagie roll with a generous layer of tender Sirloin Steak filled with sweet, caramelised onions and a smoked bell pepper cheese sauce.
