Due to the pandemic, most of us have probably exhausted all of our options for date ideas and activities to do in Singapore. After all, there’s only so many cafes to go and we’ve likely spent our SingapoRediscover Vouchers

So if you’re looking for something more than just cafe hopping, Candlelight by Fever, a candlelit classical music concert, will be coming to Singapore in March.

Situated at Victoria Concert Hall, Candlelight by Fever will showcase Vivaldi’s masterpiece, Four Seasons, and it will be performed by a string quartered which consists of two violins, one viola and one cello.

Understandably, classical music may not be everyone’s cup of tea. But when you’re revelling in the gentle flicker of candlelights and serenaded by visceral crescendos, it’s hard to not be immersed in the music.

For the safety of the audience, candlelight will be provided through flameless candles and social-distancing measures have been taken.

Tickets are priced at S$46 for Zone C, S$62 for Zone B and $77 for Zone C, which offers the highest visibility. However, 15 tickets are left at the time of writing, so it’s fastest fingers first.

Vivaldi’s Four Seasons is scheduled for various dates for March, but if you’re tied up for the month, other lineups from Chopin, Beethoven and Mozart will launch in April, May and June as well.

Previously, Fever had launched the concert series back before the pandemic hit. Due to the lockdown, it had to be put on hold. Candlelight by Fever has done their concert series all over the world, with Paris, New York and Sevilla to name. And now, they will be held in Singapore.

The concert series is known to keep its location secret, only to reveal it when the event is closer to the date. These locations are often iconic buildings of the country, and some venues from other cities include Casa de Salinas in Seville, Spain and Chapelle de la Trinité in Lyon.
