Fried chicken wings are an indulgence that speaks to everyone from young to old. No one can escape the temptation of its crispy golden-brown skin. While there are many popular places to get it from, not many places draw the same queues for fried chicken wings in Singapore as Eng Kee Chicken Wings does — and Beauty World residents are in luck!
The old-school brand will be setting up shop at the iconic Beauty World Food Centre so you can expect those queues to shift over. They will have their soft opening on 22 Oct 2021 before they go full throttle from their grand opening on 30 Oct 2021.
Known for their flavourful chicken wings that only cost S$1.30, the classic chicken wing brand has been opened since 1989 with their OG outlet at Commonwealth Drive. This Beauty World outlet will be Eng Kee Chicken Wings’ fourth in Singapore.
So what makes Eng Kee Chicken Wings so popular compared to other fried chicken wings in Singapore? Many fans flock back here for the homely and nostalgic taste of their Chicken Wings (S$1.30) — it’s all very old-school and inelaborate. Solid crispy skin and juicy insides are just what you need sometimes.
Besides the Chicken Wings, they have a mostly typical economical bee hoon selection with carb options like Fried Bee Hoon and Kway Teow Mee also kept affordable at S$0.80, while you can also get some hearty old-school classics such as Ngoh Hiang (S$1.10) and Spicy Otah (S$1.20) to pair with your chicken wings.
Besides the new Beauty World outlet you can also find Eng Kee Chicken Wings at the following locations:
- 117 Commonwealth Dr, #01-711, Singapore 141091
