With everything seemingly closing down these last 2 years, another casualty has joined the list — long-time Haji Lane tenant Good Luck Beerhouse will be bidding adieu to the once-bustling nightlife hotspot this week.
The iconic craft beer bar has been a familiar spot for many Haji Lane dwellers in the past 5 years, known for serving quirky craft beers together with local delights like hokkien mee & dim sum — where else can you find that?
However, they’re going out with a bang with some irresistible 1-for-1 promos on everything until 28 Oct 2021.
Having announced last week that they have been forced to close down due to guidelines from authorities that won’t allow them to continue with the popular Good Luck Beerhouse brand and concept, their last day of operations will be on 31 Oct 2021.
In the meantime, you can head down to have some bar grub and booze at the iconic craft beer bar one last time with special 1-for-1 promos on your first round of orders. The 1-for-1 promo applies to almost everything ranging from selected burgers, stir-fry, sides, to their fresh beers on tap.
You just have to make a reservation on Good Luck Beerhouse’s website for a seat from 25 Oct 2021 to 28 Oct 2021 and you’d be entitled to the promo. Do note that each order is for a set of 2 of the same item for the 1-for-1 promo.
So what’s worth a trip down to take advantage of their 1-for-1 promos? You can choose 1 of the selected mains which include some of their classic burgers like the hearty Bergs with Cheese (U.P. S$14) and the monstrously decadent Katsu Curry Godzilla (U.P. S$15).
If you’re a fan of pairing beer with familiar local favourites, Good Luck Beerhouse also has their signature XO Carrot Cake (U.P. S$12) on the list. You can also get a bunch of crunchy and flavourful Boneless Crispy Shrimp Paste Chicken (U.P. S$12) from the sides category if you’re looking for some crispy goodness.
While not included in the promos they’re also well-known for frying up a wok-hei-laden plate of Hokkien Mee (S$15) and Char Kway Teow (S$15) which go oh-so-well with an ice-cold point.
Besides that, they also serve up an assortment of dim sum such as siew mai and char siew bao.
And of course, it’s not a trip to Good Luck Beerhouse if you leave without a drink — there are 4 choices available, namely the easy-to-drink Lager than Life Pilsner, punchy Mini Belly Pale Ale, unique Choco Dino Choco Double Stout, and fruity Pineapple Pie Sour.
if you’re a fan of beers or just a nice chill bar in general, this is your last chance to get a feel of this storied craft beer bar while they are still open — the 1-for-1 promo is just an added incentive.
