The open-air cinema is making its return to Tanjong Beach in Sentosa from 8 May 2025 to 25 May 2025. Here’s everything you need to know about the popular open-air movie theatre experience.
Tickets go for S$44.80. You get one Hendrick’s gin cocktail, your seat, use of wireless headphones, and complimentary shuttle bus access after the event.
Those not keen on alcohol can swap the cocktail for two non-alcoholic drinks.
Let’s talk about movie timing. My early birds, your efforts to arrive in advance will not be in vain. The gates open at 5.30pm, with the screenings commencing at 7.45pm. Beat the crowd, then earn your crown aka your seat.
You can rightfully claim your “throne” by collecting a sticker, writing your name on it, and pasting it on the deck chair of your choice. Then, enjoy the fruits of your labour by relaxing, exploring, and taking golden hour photos for the next two hours.
Of course, a sunset cinema experience by Hendrick’s means drinks are non-negotiable.
Hendrick’s gin cocktails are uniquely infused with cucumber and rose. Of the array, highlights to try include the classic Hendrick’s & Tonic and the favourite, Hendrick’s Cucumber Lemonade.
Don’t forget to “Ring for Refreshment” at the entrance to choose a complimentary cocktail. Talk about royal treatment!
A fully-stocked bar and dinner menu by Tanjong Beach Club will be provided, so no need to worry about dinner plans too.
Can you say it’s a beach party without a soundtrack to accompany it? Luckily, resident DJ Stephen Day will be there to set the tone.
The pre-party is half the fun, but the sunset cinema is what you came for.
With each night screening a different movie, you should strategise carefully.
Before going, choose which film you want to catch from the 12 award-winning movies showing. There’s a great variety in genre, including The Substance, We Live In Time, Wicked, Gladiator II, and more.
Then, slip on your state-of-the-art headphones, kick back on your deck chair, and immerse yourself in the film.
