Always wanted to step into Middle-earth? You can finally do so as The Lord of the Rings – A Musical Tale is coming to Singapore for the first time ever at the Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, in August 2025.
In fact, this will mark the musical’s debut in Asia, having been showcased in cities like Toronto, London, and Sydney. This enhancing musical adaption is based on the beloved high-fantasy trilogy of the same name by English author J.R.R. Tolkien.
Narrated through the eyes of the Hobbits, the musical showcases original compositions by Academy Award-winning composer A.R. Rahman, Finnish folk band Värttinä, and Tony Award-winning Christopher Nightingale.
Though the general sale of the tickets will go live on 10 January 2025 (mark your calendars!), there will be multiple pre-sale sessions, during which you can enjoy special discounts and promotions.
On 6 January 2025, at 10am, Klook World members can purchase their tickets at a 20% discount. For DBS and POSB cardmembers, y’all can snag not just the same 20% off but also exclusive priority access on 7 January 2025, 10am till midnight.
Miss the date? No worries, as DBS and POSB cardmembers can still enjoy 20% off their tickets till 31 January 2025. From 8 January to 31 January 2025, waitlist subscribers can snag a 15% discount on their tickets.
