With Pokémon: Scarlet & Violet coming to the Nintendo Switch on 18 November, and the recent Pokémon trading card craze and Pikachu-themed flights to Japan – here’s another way you can join in on the Pokémon hype!
Run – don’t walk – to the Pokémon sale currently happening at Isetan Scotts in Orchard with plenty of cute merchandise selling at affordable prices from now to 20 October.
The first thing you’ll notice when you walk into the toys’ department at Isetan Scotts is the Pokémon section, and the enticing row of plushies. Get yourself a Pikachu plush, or Eevee , Charmander and Bulbasaur if you like those too! Some plushies even come with a plush Pokeball to put Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Eevee in if you want to pretend to have a battle with a friend.
Ready to be the best, like no one ever was? Stock up on Pokeballs (S$10), with Great Balls and Master Balls to help you catch all kinds of Pokemon. What’s more, these Pokeballs are compatible with some of the smaller figurines, which makes for an even more exciting experience!
Other than plushies, check out the wide array of figurines, going at 2 for S$13, and add classic Pokémon figurines like Snorlax, Vaporeon, Gyarados, and more to your party.
The singing Pikachus (S$10) are adorable too, and you can make a complete song with all of them lined up, so you can assemble an entire orchestra!
You can also find Legendary Pokémon here, such as Zazamenta, Necrozma, and Arceus to give your battling team a legendary boost! Whichever game is your fave, there’s definitely something here for everyone.
There are also cute mini claw machines (S$90) you can get where you can put your figurines in and pick them up with the claw – perfect fun for those who enjoy gacha-style arcade games. Or play with battle sets (S$90) where you can put your figurines into a Pokémon battle.
