Singaporean singer-songwriter JJ Lin is bringing his café, Miracle Coffee to Singapore, which will serve as the chain’s flagship outlet.

First conceptualised in 2017, Miracle Coffee was named for JJ Lin’s first music documentary film, If Miracles Had A Sound, and endeavours to make a good cup of coffee available on the go.

With four other stores in Taiwan and China, the Singapore branch will be the café’s fifth outlet and its first outside Taiwan and China. The café will first open at the Rain Oculus as a pop-up concept before it shifts to its flagship space in the ArtScience Museum’s lobby in 2023

The ArtScience Museum was chosen due to its scenic location, and JJ Lin’s desire to create an intimate and relaxing experience with coffee. Overlooking Marina Bay in a lotus-shaped building, Miracle Coffee promises to be a dining experience like no other.

Diners can expect to see the café’s signature pour-overs and cold brews, among other menu items and pastries. Exclusive to the Singapore outlet is the Kaya Cloud,  an Americano-style coffee featuring fragrant fruity notes, flavoured with kaya and topped off with gula melaka.

Coffee-lovers will also be treated to watching the baristas artfully create the café’s signature pour-over at the outdoor kiosk, and savour pre-made cold brews, with plant-based options such as soy and oat milk also available.

And after you’ve enjoyed a cuppa, why not check out the museum’s exhibits? The ArtScience Museum hosts various exhibitions such as Patricia Piccinini: We Are Connected and MENTAL: Colours of Wellbeing, as well as its permanent exhibition, Future World: Where Art Meets Science.

We’re definitely excited for Miracle Coffee’s launch, and we’ll see you there when it opens on September 30 2022!
