Little House of Dreams fulfills your princess dreams

by Vivian Ng

It’s been a long week, and we all need our well-deserved break. While there are many ideas to unwind over the weekends, we absolutely can’t resist pastel pink and dandy dreamlike locations. Here at Little House of Dreams is where all your princess dreams come to life, so you can live a day out of a fairytale.

At first glance, this dreamy looking cafe is daintily dressed with exuberant flowers spread along its door arch. A princess’ castle is not complete without the beautiful decoration of pink roses and daisies, and the set up of this cafe probably crowns it as the prettiest cafe in Dempsey Hill. Since it’s the perfect place for Instagram photos, make sure you pick the right outfit and get your camera ready.

As soon as you step through the door, you’ll be greeted by the fragrant aroma of coffee and sweet cakes. Lush green vines and leaves wrap overhead, with strings of fairy lights that give the cafe an airy feel. The pastel-coloured interior and calming ambience feels like a picture plucked out of a fairytale book.

It’s Royalty 101 for a princess to have good back posture and the chairs at Little House of Dreams sport arched backrests to support that. With more indoor plants surrounding the interior, you’ll look like Belle in the iconic rose garden.

A generous amount of natural light pours in from the glass windows, turning the cafe bright, vibrant and airy. With porcelain vases shimmering under the light, there’s a gentle air of tranquility to the cafe, making you feel like you’ve stepped into a magical palace ground.

What’s a fairytale without a dash of mythical animals? While there are no fairies or pegasus, this customised unicorn cake at Little House of Dreams does the trick for any social occasion, especially birthdays.

Speaking of birthdays, it’s Pisces Season. If you’re planning to take your Pisces friend to this dreamy picturesque cafe, don’t forget to order this mermaid-inspired dessert for them. This cutie comes with a slight hint of gold on the mermaid’s tail in a cloud-shaped bowl, sprinkled with cute sweets and fluffy cream.
