If you’re looking for a hearty brunch spot in Singapore, you can’t go wrong with Merci Marcel, a spot normally packed during weekends. The cafe is popular for a variety of French fare but Merci Marcel’s signature is definitely their Ravioles de Royans — which you can get for free.
Yes, the cafe will be giving away their highly-raved-about pasta dish as a complimentary item to diners ordering delivery.
You can get your hands on free Ravioles de Royans (U.P. $18) by placing any delivery order with Merci Marcel after 6pm, for a limited time only — now until 30 July 2021.
If you haven’t had this pasta dish before, it’s a French version of ravioli that features small pasta dumplings filled with rich Tete de Moine cheese.
Merci Marcel serves the Ravioles in a light cream sauce, free of any excessive heaviness you’d find in other cream-based pasta but still adds a nice silkiness. There’s also a touch of chive oil added to give it a herby punch.
But the highlight in this dish is of course the pasta itself. Each piece is packed with the aromatic cheese that just comes bursting out when you bite down. These are some delectable cheese bombs.
If you don’t want to be overloaded carbs and cheese, you can order some other dishes from Merci Marcel to pair with the free Ravioles. Other signature dishes here include their pizzas which have unique toppings to each of the 3 outlets.

For something that can help curb your sweet tooth, they also have a very popular French Toast (S$18.19). It comes with 2 unbelievably fluffy slices of Brioche topped with berries, honey, almond.
There’s also a super decadent Croque Marcel (S$26.75) that’s Merci Marcel’s special creation if you want to amp up the richness alongside the free Ravioles. The sandwich comes with umami Bayonne ham, organic fried egg as well as a rich cheese.
