As we ready ourselves for the nation’s 59th birthday (hello, fireworks-spotting), we’ve also been seeing tons of exciting deals and launches being rolled out at F&B concepts all across the island.
Cult-favourite Japanese donut chain Mister Donut has also jumped on the bandwagon with an exclusive line-up of locally-inspired flavours made in collaboration with the beloved Ya Kun Kaya Toast.

Firstly, you have the Ya Kun Kopi Pon De Ring (S$3), a mochi donut that incorporates traditional sock-brewed coffee. The aromatic, subtly bitter kopi is blended into the dough, and then coated with coffee-flavoured milk chocolate.
If you can never resist anything coffee and chocolate, this will be right up your alley.

Alternatively, go for the Ya Kun Kaya Cream (S$3), a soft, pillowy bomboloni-style donut filled with fragrant kaya cream — made using Ya Kun’s signature kaya, of course.
You can purchase both donuts a la carte, or get a bundle purchase of half a dozen (S$14) or 10 for S$23, with each additional piece priced at S$0.50.

These limited-edition sweet treats will be available for purchase for the entire month from 1 to 31 August 2024, so mark your calendars!
If you’re a diehard Ya Kun fan, listen up, because if you purchase any two donuts from this series from 1 to 7 August, you’ll receive a Ya Kun Kaya Toast Scratch-and-Win Card, limited to the first 100 customers per day per store.

With this card, you’ll stand a chance to win various prizes including a free upsize of hot coffee or tea, S$1 off any muffin, and S$1 off a Value Set Meal.
Will you be getting your hands on these delectable donuts come 1 August?
