Love Indonesian food?
Get excited because Peppermint is teaming up with the Embassy of Indonesia to bring you an Indonesian feast like no other. The “Wonderful Indonesia” buffet is a collaboration with MasterChef Indonesia judge Chef Degan Septoadji, running until 31 March 2025.

First, at Peppermint Wonderful Indonesia, it is a must to things off with a comforting bowl of soup.
Options include the rich Sop Buntot (Oxtail Soup), aromatic Baby Lamb Ribs Tongseng (spicy Indonesian lamb stew), or the indulgent Soto Betawi (Jakarta-style beef soup). However, only one soup is on rotation daily.

Next, head straight to the pushcart. You will find fresh and vibrant Indonesian salads like Lawar Ayam (Balinese Chicken) and Sambal Tongkol.

Or get hands-on and make your own Gado Gado. Load up your plate with quail eggs, tempeh, and kangkong before drenching it in peanut sauce. If you like it spicy, add a generous splash of sambal kicap and fiery sambal (admin might have gone a little wild here).

Cheese lovers, don’t miss the Parmesan Cheese Wheel for that extra indulgent touch.

If you’re visiting for dinner, make a beeline for the Whole Kambing Guling (whole roasted lamb). Don’t skip the Bebek Betutu (Balinese spiced roasted duck), which is an absolute must-try (though slightly on the salty side).

Fill up your plate with Ikan Acar Kuning (Indonesian Fried Fish with Yellow Pickles), Black Angus Beef Guling, and Sate Lilit (Minced Meat Satay on Lemongrass Skewers), which was presented interestingly.

Pro tip: Skip the Briyani and go for the Nasi Goreng Bali (Bali-style fried rice) instead (admin went back for seconds and thirds). But leave some room for the meats because they’re the showstoppers here.

For those who love seafood, don’t miss out on Cumi Asin Cabe Ijo, a delicious stir-fried salted squid tossed in tangy green chili sambal.
For dinner, you’ll also get one lobster dish daily, rotating between Lobster Saus Padang (Lobster in Padang Sauce), Lobster Bakar Bumbu Jimbaran (Jimbaran-style Grilled Lobster), and Sambal Goreng Lobster (Lobster in Sambal sauce).

For noodle fanatics, check out the noodle station next to the Hainanese chicken rice counter.
Options like Mie Kocok (Indonesian Beef Noodle Soup), Mie Bakso (Noodles with Meatballs), and Mie Godong Jawa (Javanese-style noodles) are waiting for you. Once again, each option is on rotation daily!

End on a sweet note with Kolak Pisang (banana in coconut milk) or Pisang Goreng with Nutella, which was the biggest surprise (admin went back for two more rounds despite being stuffed).

Don’t worry; if you need a break from all the Indonesian flavours, they still serve their usual seafood, Japanese delights, Indian dishes, and Western favourites.

If you’re heading for dinner on 7 March 2025 or 8 March 2025, you’ll get to enjoy live performances by traditional Indonesian dancers, adding to the immersive experience.
Plus, Peppermint is having a social media giveaway, where lucky winners can snag up to S$400 in flight vouchers to Indonesia or a two-night stay at Pan Pacific Jakarta. So, keep an eye on their Instagram page for updates!
Weekday prices start at S$72 for adults and S$36 for children, while weekend prices start at S$98 for adults and S$49 for children.
With all this incredible food and entertainment waiting for you, the only question left is, who’s coming with you?
