PokéXciting events at Changi Airport & Jewel – our highlights

Share

In case you missed it, Pokémon is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. To commemorate this milestone, the popular franchise is bringing a PokéXciting celebration to Singapore at Changi Airport and Jewel.

As someone who spent countless hours on Pokémon Ruby as a kid, and who still revisits the popular animation and songs from time to time, I was definitely PokéXcited to see what The Pokémon Company has cooked up.

And let’s just say that when my colleague and I dropped by for the first day of the PokéXciting event, we were overwhelmed in the best way possible. There was a surprising amount of Pokémon activities and appearances throughout Changi Airport, so here are our personal highlights we think you should catch… ‘em all.

Pokémon Parade

The Pokémon Parade at Jewel was definitely one of the best parts of our day. For those of you who would love to get up close with 29 adorable Pokémon from all 9 current generations, you cannot miss this.

This gigantic parade will take place on 7 & 8 November 2026 only, at 3pm and 6pm at Jewel’s Forest Valley. If you’d like to catch your favourite Pokémon, arrive early, as registration is required onsite on a first-come, first-served basis. Admission is free with limited capacity.

As you go on your own PokéXciting adventure around the airport, look out for Pokégenic photo spots, such as this cute Pikachu mural at Terminal 3 (T3). Pokémon will make special appearances on walls and in installations across all four terminals, so spot them and snap many photos!

Queues open 60 minutes before each session and are subject to limited capacity. Like the Pokémon Parade, admission is free, but registration onsite is required. Be early if you want to catch Pikachu(s) in action!
