Filmgarde Cineplexes just launched Singapore’s first-ever Premium Single Seatings.
Sometimes, the best movies deserve to be watched with the Gold Class experience. These movies require comfortable air-conditioned seating, a large screen to feast your eyes upon and of course, a crispy all-surround sound system — *whispers* all, around, you you you you you.
It’s safe to presume that most people would go for premium seatings in pairs, since they are, only sold in pairs. But with Kallang’s Filmgarde launching the first-ever Premium Single Seatings in Singapore, Forever-Alones can rejoice.
Premium cinematic experience for singles
Just this week, local cinema operator Filmgarde Cineplexes launched its first-ever premium cinema hall. Located at Leisure Park Kallang, the new hall is titled Primo and features seats with a luxurious leatherette finish.
The Gold Class experience isn’t a new thing to Singaporeans, but the Premium Single Seatings do deserve a shoutout. After all, why can’t we enjoy movies alone?
Besides enjoying your plush, private seating, the chairs also come fully equipped with recliners and a side table. Now, you can sit back and relax, stretch your legs fully and have this little corner all to yourself.
Holding hands during a movie is so overrated anyway.
But if you’re attached and have somehow stumbled onto this article, you’ll be glad to know that there are Privacy Cocoons for couples as well. Perhaps the best part about this seating is that the side tables are separated, so you don’t have to share your popcorn with bae.

The Primo Hall isn’t just any run-off-the-mill premium cinema. It provides the largest movie screen in its class — perfect to catch Chris Hemsworth’s rock hard abs in all that 4K digital crystal clear action.
The sound system is equipped with in-class DTS:X immersive cinematic sound, which offers a 360-degree audio experience to top it all off.
The tickets to Primo Hall in Filmgarde Kallang are priced at S$40 for single seating and S$72 for the double seats. The packages also come with a small popcorn, bottled water, a can of Pringles (42 grams), a canned drink and a wet towel.
