Queensway’s Japanese-inspired Garden has the most picturesque & zen McDonald’s outlet after its new makeover

by

The iconic golden arches of McDonald’s are probably one of the most common sights all over the world — with over 36 000 outlets worldwide and over 135 outlets in Singapore alone.

While most of the outlets here are nothing to shout about (though the food is good and it always hits the spot when you’re looking for something quick and easy to fill your tummy), a newly-revamped McDonald’s outlet at Queensway is definitely taking the familiar McDonald’s experience to the next level.

Located at the first ever Japanese-inspired community garden at Queensway in Singapore, this McDonald’s outlet is probably one of the most picturesque and zen ones you’ll see here.

The interior of the outlet has been newly renovated, with chic grey granite accents and is pretty comfortable and spacious — perfect for a chill afternoon with friends.

For families with children, there’s also an indoor play area so your little ones can interact and have fun in a safe space while you’re having your meals!

But if you want to take it up a notch, head over to the outdoor seating area and you’ll find yourself surrounded by the lush greenery of the Japanese-inspired garden, as well as some gorgeous waterfront views of the pond. (If you look carefully, you’ll also find some adorable terrapins sunbathing on the rocks or swimming around!)

Looking to take a stroll after a hearty meal at the outlet? There are also spacious wooden bridges that connect the McDonald’s to the rest of the garden which makes for some really pretty IG photos and TikToks.

As you take a walk at the surrounding garden, you’ll see plenty of breathtaking flora and fauna that you don’t typically get to see around the vicinity of many other McDonald’s outlets.

And that’s not all — there’s still a part of the beautiful outlet that’s still under construction (which will be unveiled soon), so you can probably expect even more seatings and perhaps some other on-theme decor and spaces.

Prior to the shiny new makeover, this McDonald’s outlet had also always been one of the most iconic ones in Singapore for its zen atmosphere, and now it’s even better being all new and improved — plus there’s an added McCafe kiosk to the outlet as well.

The next time you’re looking for a satisfying comfort meal with a view, check out the McDonald’s outlet here!
