Seoul Restaurant has an underrated Korean BBQ buffet from S$59++ per person with free-flow premium meats like beef short ribs, L.A galbi, Iberico pork collar, raw marinated crab & more

There is no shortage of Korean BBQ buffets serving budget-friendly cuts of meat out there, but sometimes you just wanna treat yourself to somethin‘ a little more special.

That’s when you should visit Seoul Restaurant, a family-owned K-BBQ joint that has been operating in Conrad Singapore Orchard (formerly known as Regent Hotel) for over a decade.

It’s easy to see why the Seoul A La Carte Buffet remains one of the restaurant’s most popular options.

For just S$59++ for lunch and S$89++ for dinner, you’ll get to tuck into unlimited servings of premium cuts of meat like Chadolbagi (thinly sliced beef brisket), Yangnyeom Galbisal (marinated boneless short rib), L.A Galbi (marinated bone-in short rib), Samgyeopsal (sliced pork belly), and Moksal (Spanish Iberico pork collar).

But that’s not all, as you can also find a selection of BBQ chicken, sausages, and seafood like Sawewoo (prawns) and Godeungeo (mackerel).

Balance everything out with hearty “a la carte” dishes like Kimchijeon, Topokki, and Dubu-Kimchi, sliced beancurd served with stir-fried ripened kimchi and pork.

You can also end the meal with a comforting stew (think classics like Sunbudu-jjigae and Doenjang-jjigae), or a refreshing Mul-naengmyeon — a must-have after all those smoky grilled meats.

If you don’t take beef, the buffet is priced at S$49++ (lunch) and S$79++ (dinner).

Wanna go all out? Feel free to add on even more premium items at prices lower than what you’d find on the a la carte menu.

For instance, you’ll get to choose from fancier cuts of meat like Kkot-galbisal (wagyu-grade boneless beef short rib, S$25, U.P. S$69), Seoul Galbi (marinated beef short rib, S$30, U.P. S$79), and Deungsim (wagyu-grade beef rib eye, S$40, U.P. S$109).

Seafood lovers are also in luck, as they have options like Jangeo-gui (marinated eel, S$20, U.P. S$30) and even Yangnyeom-gejang (spicy marinated crab, S$19, U.P. S$39).

Alternatively, you can opt to enjoy everything free-flow by going for the Premium BBQ Buffet (S$119++ for both lunch and dinner), which I’d recommend you go for.
