New Swee Choon Century Square offers $2 Bestselling Dishes, opening on 30 Jul

by Evan Mua

Dim Sum fans living in the East should be excited. You can look forward to convenient dim sum feasts at Singapore’s most popular dim sum supper spot. Swee Choon will be opening in Tampines at Century Square soon!

After hoarding with Swee Choon’s logo was first spotted a month ago at the mall, the brand new outlet will finally be opening on 30 July 2021.

While Swee Choon has been a popular brand for years, most people only know them for the original outlet at Jalan Besar — home to many memories of post-clubbing suppers. This will be their first mall outlet, ever.

The decor is a throwback to retro cha chaan teng vibes, with vintage tiles and furniture reminiscent of the old-school HK cafes. But there are also quirky retro lights to add a bit of modern quirkiness to the restaurant.

We can’t wait to check it out when we can go out for dim sum suppers again, even if a Dim Sum delivery to the comfort of your home is still a shiok experience.

When it comes to Dim Sum, nothing beats the rowdy bustle of a shop like Swee Choon, here’s hoping the Century Square outlet will be equally as cosy!

There’s also a Swee Choon cloud kitchen already in Tampines, though it’s not as convenient as the Century Square outlet. It’s located in the Tampines North area, sharing the kitchen with other brands like Ayam Penyet President, Koi, and Mom’s Touch.

So if you’re looking to take away a Dim Sum meal with a variety of other stuff, that’s the place for you. Either way, Easties will have a lot of Dim Sum that they can look forward to now.
