“Don Don Don… Doooonki“, now that’s an earworm that most Singaporeans would never be able to get out of their heads. It’s only been a little more than 3 years, but Don Don Donki has quickly become one of Singaporeans’ favourite spots for those post-meal strolls.
And if you’re living in the East, there’s a new spot coming to you soon where you can be blasted with their iconic theme song. Yes, Don Don Donki is opening a new outlet in Tampines!
It’s not the first outlet in the East but compared to the Downtown East outlet, this will be a more convenient location for most people.
So where will Don Don Donki be opening its 11th outlet? The new Don Don Donki will find its home at Tampines 1 shopping centre, in the heart of Tampines.
While there is no official announcement from the Japanese megastore yet, their iconic mascot can already be seen on hoarding at the mall. It’s definitely coming soon but we don’t know when. Yet.
Plus, even the mall Tampines 1 itself teased an image of the Don Don Donki on their social media, so you can be sure this is not a false alarm.
Like all their different branches, this new Don Don Donki outlet is also going to be quite sizeable in floor space. It is going to be taking over vacancies in the mall previously held by Uniqlo and Browhaus.
Easties definitely have something to be excited about, especially if you’re a fan of Japanese food. It’s so much easier to get authentic Japanese goods for your WFH needs now.
