We know that Johor Bahru has plenty of pet cafes. But what sets The Paw Hub apart from the other cat cafes is they double up as a dog and cat hotel as well as a pet grocer. This one-stop shop is the perfect gathering point for pet-owners and animal lovers alike.
Located at the Eco Botanic in JB, the paw hub is home to several resident cuties that are eagerly waiting for you to play with them, give them treats and cuddles. When they aren’t lazing around on the cafe grounds, you can probably find them strutting along the cat bridge or hiding in their little cubby holes. You read that right, the cafe has gone to great lengths to cat-ify the space to ensure that the cats have plenty to explore.
Some kitties to look out for include the ever so grumpy but super adorable Cloudy, the majestic princess Sandy, as well as the little cuties Titan and Yuri. Feel free to spend all the time in the world with these furry felines — don’t worry, we won’t snitch to your cat back at home.
The cat lounge is open from 11am to 7pm, and you can chill with these kitties as long as you purchase one drink or snack. Prices on the menu start from around S$4 (RM13.90) and one of their must-trys is their signature Swiss Roll (S$4/RM13.90 for two). It comes in yummy flavours like black sesame, yam, and matcha. However, do note that the cat lounge is closed on Thursdays — because the cats need a break from humans too.
Apart from being a cat cafe where you get to get some quality cat therapy with the kitties, The Paw Hub also doubles as a pet hotel — although this might be more useful for those residing in JB. However, if you’re bringing your entire family (pets included), you can drop your little fur-babies off here while the humans go for a little shopping spree.
That’s not all you can do here. You can even treat your furbabies to some pampering as there are professional pet groomers on-site. If you’ve been looking to give your pet a new hairdo, now’s your chance!
If there’s one thing that pets absolutely love, it’s treats — my cat goes crazy over her treats. The Paw Hub has a selection of pet food and treats from popular brands like Amelisa Pet & Co, Ozpro, Mutt Store, and Taiwanese pet food brand Hoorooroo (厚肉肉). They’ve got everything from your regular wet food to some very exotic treats.
