Located along North Bridge Road (near Kampong Glam), Wong Fu Fu is Singapore’s first halal-certified Taiwanese-inspired restaurant and bubble tea bar.

Now is your chance to satisfy those cravings if you can’t travel to Taiwan anytime soon!

From now until 5 May 2024, they’re offering a special promotion which features a XXL Mega Bubble Tea at only S$28.80++

It features a whopping five-litres worth of milk tea with 1 kg of mini tapioca pearls and large brown sugar pearls.

Considering the generous amount of tea and boba that they give, I’d say that it’s extremely worth it.

We couldn’t believe our eyes when it was first served and the first thing that I immediately thought was: how in the world are we going to finish this

Luckily, they offer a takeaway option if you wish — simply top up an additional S$1 per cup.

Despite its mega size, it had a pleasant tea fragrance and wasn’t overly sweet as we could control how much sugar syrup we wanted to put in — plus the boba was nice and chewy without the weird plasticky taste.

Besides the ala carte option, you can also get the Mega Bubble Tea for free if you were to spend a certain amount when dining in. This includes:

  • Weekday Lunch (12pm–5pm), S$168++
  • Weekday Dinner (5pm–10pm), S$228++
  • Eve of PH & PH (All day), S$228++

But, if you find yourself coming solo, the Mega Bubble Tea might be a tad too much.

Not to fret, because Wong Fu Fu will be celebrating International Bubble Tea Day on 30 April 2024, during which you’ll get to enjoy their 1-for-1 Bubble Tea promotion at S$3.50 (Medium) or S$4.50 (Large)

Top up an additional S$0.80–S$1.20 for toppings including tapioca pearls, rainbow konjac jelly, matcha pudding, aiyu jelly, and more.

Food-wise, they have occasional collaborations with other popular brands like KitKat and Indomie. Currently, they have partnered up with Nong Shim and are serving ramen-inspired fare until 21 April 2024 — I would hurry down if I were you!

Ready to indulge in the biggest cup of bubble tea you’ll probably ever drink?
