This October, Haw Ror Villa is celebrating its fourth birthday with a bang.

This is the last year of Haw Par Villa’s Halloween event, so you can expect not two, but three scare zones ramped up.

At Zone 1: Infiltrating The Heart of The Sanctum, visitors must suppress their survival instincts and muster their courage to infiltrate the heart of the cult’s sanctum.

Zone 2: The Villa Has Eyes II – An Interactive Ghostly Guided Tour requires visitors to return to the villa on a dark and spooky night to interrogate the spirits of the past.

You will need to find all the sacred totems to open the portal to save your beloved’s soul. Zone 3’s The Forbidden Ritual: The Search for Hellbound Totems – A Hell’s Museum Puzzle Hunt will test your wits and puzzle-hunting skills, as well as your ability to dodge the spirits of hell.

Tickets are redeemable via SG Culture Pass. Alternatively, you can book your tickets here.

The Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO)’s Organ Series: An Organ Halloween with Joseph Nolan concert is your ticket to a beautiful yet haunting night.

A spectacular, dark and dramatic world of classical organ music is guaranteed with award-winning organist Joseph Nolan at the helm.

Listen as Joseph Nolan, one of the world’s finest organists, plays classic haunting pieces such as Johann Sebastian Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV565 on the Klais Pipe Organ, Singapore’s only fully mechanical organ.

You’ll realise quickly that this isn’t your average recital, just like how most of us don’t settle for average Halloween costumes. Adding a spectacular twist, light painter Lawrence Koh will accompany Joseph Nolan with a live art performance during the Sonata on the 94th Psalm recital.

Beyond the attractive performances, set aside some time to appreciate the mesmerising Organ Exhibition located at the Stalls Foyer on Level 2 of the Victoria Concert Hall.

The exhibition will take place before (from 6.30pm to 6.45pm) and after (from 8.30pm to 9pm) the concert, where you can explore and learn more about the organ.

Tickets go from S$20, before in-house discounts, such as a 15% discount for a Family Package of four tickets and above. Book them here.
