The workday ends at 6pm, but the evening doesn’t have to. Slow cocktails, shared plates and the kind of company that makes the week feel shorter.

Indian and Chinese flavours have entered the chat, with Golden Taro Balls (S$10) and Masala Crab Toast (S$16) as excellent options for shareable bites. Want more spice? Try the Hunan Beef Skewers (S$28), rubbed with Xinjiang spices and the Sichuan Lotus Chips (S$12).

Bringing you the most elegant drinks, Divine Mercy ties in Gin with Tie Guan Yin and Elderflower Liqueur for a floral harmony; Threads of Fire infuses lotus root with layers of fiery kick in each sip; and Jade Garden unfolds light, delicate sweet notes.

Leila showcases their Middle East and Mediterranean flair, providing dishes made for sharing and drinks for every conversation.

Hot girl dinner begins with Kubana (S$15), soft, pillowy bread with crushed tomatoes, garlic confit, and harissa for a gentle spice. For mains, the Mini Pita Arayes (S$18) is ideal to share between 2, along with the Green Chilli Shrimp (S$27) or the Chicken Manseef (S$33) for flavourful protein.

Leila’s cocktails you probably never had before but are worth a try: Sam-Buk (S$24) mixes Greek Olive Oil with White Rum, and Arak-esso (S$26) features Coffee Liqueur and Arabic Arak, a traditional Arabic spirit.

Pick up your chopsticks and qiap the Truffle & Prawn Siu Mai (S$22), A4 Wagyu Black Pepper Spring Rolls (S$32), and Soft Shell Crab Steam Bao (S$18) to get the best of all varieties for the table.

When cocktails come into play, move through the night at your own pace. Kickstart the night with a Little Lie (S$24), which you secretly like Coriander in your Gin; or perhaps tell the waitress to call for Madam Li (S$23) to bring the Milky Oolong Tea with Gin to the table. Calling it a night? End the night off with a cheeky game, but don’t reveal your Lucky Tiles (S$23) to the rest; they need not know that there’s Whiskey and Chrysanthemum Tea in your cup.

Walk-ins are accommodated; reservations are highly encouraged here.

With 16 Signature Cocktails to choose from, here are 4 intriguing drinks I would go for. Achar (S$26) to tickle the back of my throat with Achar Shrub and Tabasco; P.B Espresso Martini (S$27) is the kind of drink that calls for all Peanut Butter and Hazelnut lovers; B.K.T (S$26) screams comforting with a hint of curiosity, with hot Bak Kut Teh broth and Rice Vodka; and finally, as a qualified Gen Z, how could I miss Gen Z Maicha (S$26), with Genmaicha and Chivas? Sold!

With a limited capacity of 12 cosy seats, reservations are a must. Pick a date and secure your seats here.

Dimple

Dimple sets the scene with cocktails that translate the scenes of Hong Kong into delectable drinks. Some personal favourites were Sour Plum (S$25), inspired by chilled sour plum itself and tomatoes, and Yuan Yang (S$25), which tastefully brings a local element into a glass.

Who knew a bowl of healthy Cantonese dessert could be constructed into a fun drink? Dimple does it right with Longan & Red Date (S$25), incorporating Winter Melon, White Fungus, and Whiskey. Brown Butter (S$25) is an interpretation of Hong Kong movies, with Cognac and Bitter Dark Chocolate.

Save yourself a table for great cocktails here.
