Age.3 – Famous Fried Sando is Coming to Singapore This November

Share

Japan’s viral fried sando, Age.3, will be debuting its first Singapore store at ION Orchard, and we’re already predicting the beeline. Bring a friend, no portable fan required, and zero shame about standing there for a fried sando.

Not convinced? Well, I’m here to intrigue and give you a reason to queue for fried milk bread. With over 34 variations, Age.3 has one for everyone! Each sando is curated with love and filled with fresh ingredients and hand-whisked, low-sugar whipped cream. Imagine biting into a crisp exterior and a fluffy, chewy centre – heaven!

Non-fruit combinations include Mont Blanc, Caramel Biscuit, Ganache Matcha, and Kuromitsu Kinako, a classic Japanese flavour combination used as a staple in many traditional Japanese confectionery and modern desserts. Fruity options range from Mango and Mandarin Orange to Chocolate Strawberry.

One of the most exciting flavours I’m looking forward to is the Crème Brûlée. Think custard cream and a caramelised sugar top, adding an extra crunch to the fried sando. If chocolate is your middle name, then you’re in for a treat with their chocolate cream selection, featuring rich nama chocolate with a range of fruit pairings.

The menu goes from sweet to savoury, and so will your cravings. Bringing a piece of Japan into the flavours, expect Potato Salad, Curry and Noodle fillings, and the Beef Short Rib Yakiniku Sandwich. Some classic fillings also include Egg Salad, Chicken Nanban, Smoked Salmon, and Grilled Keema Curry.

Will the sando be good? Yes. Will the queue be part of the experience? Also yes. Say hello to Age.3 in mid-November this year!
