Calling all cat owners, kitty pawrents, and feline fans! The inaugural Asia Cat Expo . Taking place on 29 and 30 July 2023 at Suntec City Convention Hall, get ready for a weekend filled with a host of cat-centric and pet-friendly activities that’s fun for the whole family. And yes, all cats are welcomed to participate in this massive cat gathering.
The Asia Cat Expo 2023 will feature over 100 local and international brands of cat care products including Bows.licious, Monsterpet Singapore, World’s Best Cat Litter, and more. If you’re looking to treat your little feline companion, you’ll definitely be able to find some delicious treats from booths like Steak & Eggs Please, Raw Rawr, and Pet Cubes among others.
Other unique booths on-site include the Cat Cruise by Royal Albatross — if you’re looking to treat your kitty cat to a fancy dinner date under the stars, you know where to go. There will also be photobooths on-site for you to take pics with your furkid.
Cat enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that there will be plenty of cute cat-themed merch to bring home. To make things even more fun, there’ll also be a cat dress-up and cat-themed cosplay competition taking place — now’s the chance for both you and your furkid to dress in matching outfits! There’s plenty of attractive prizes up for grabs so go wild and come in your fiercest outfits to win!
Speaking of showing up in style, the event will also showcase Singapore’s first cat grooming competition complete with an international grooming judge from Thailand. If you’re looking for some new hair inspo for your kitty cat, you know where to check out. I’m really hoping there’ll be cats sporting a lion’s mane hairdo.
Since the event is centred around responsible cat care, there will be vets from AVS on-site for you to ask all the burning questions you have about your cat’s health. You can also sign your cat up to be microchipped. If you’re looking to welcome a new feline companion into your life, you can pop by the adoption drive to give the kittens a new fur-ever home.
If you’re bringing your (human) kids along to explore the fair, there are plenty of family-friendly activities like face painting, glitter tattoo, cat toy making, and more for the whole family to take part in. The crowd favourite cat-themed art jamming workshop will also be setting up shop at the fair.
Tickets to the Asia Cat Expo are priced at S$5 for a one-day pass and S$8 for a two-day pass, and can be purchased here. Children under 12 can enjoy complimentary entry with an accompanying adult, while cats get free entry, of course.
