Popular Filipino dessert chain Avocadoria debuts in Singapore with avocado desserts like dark chocolate avocado shake, ice cream & more

I am unabashedly a greens lover, and avocado, in all its glorious green and creamy goodness has me in its clutches. Clearly the founder of Avocadoria has a similar — if not more passionate — love for avocados, and has decided to bring an all-star lineup of avocado desserts to Singapore.

Avocadoria took the Philippines by storm since their first outlet opened in 2019, and now they are bringing the beloved avocado desserts to AMK Hub as well. Avocado ice cream, shakes, and Filipino desserts re-imagined with avocados are some of the things you can expect on the menu.

Their signature ice cream, the Avocado Lover (from S$7.90), is a must-try. You’ll be getting a cup full of the luxurious ice cream, with crushed biscuits as a base, tapioca pearls and their homemade cream packed into the middle, and topped off with avocado bits, almonds, chia and flax seeds.

It sounds like a delicious combination of bubble tea, cake and ice cream, but for those worrying about all the calories, maybe an Avocado Keto Ice Cream ($7.40) or a Naked Avocado Light Ice Cream (S$4.90) without all the frills would suit your tastes better.

If you’re more of a shakes fan, how about trying their avocado shakes that come in six flavours? Other than the original Avocado, Jackfruit, Mango, Soursop (all priced at S$9.80), Dark Chocolate (S$10.80) and Keto (S$12.90) versions are also available.

Just thinking about the velvety richness of dark chocolate with the creamy avocado makes me want to rush down to Ang Mo Kio to get a cup right now.

Avocadoria is also introducing Filipino desserts to Singapore with an avocado twist. Take sansrival, a Filipino dessert known for its alternating layers of meringue cake and buttercream frosting, with chopped cashews sprinkled between.

Avocadoria is offering Avocado Sansrival (from S$18.80), an indulgent treat with avocado-made buttercream, and layered with generous amounts of cashews, pistachios, almonds and soft meringue cake.

Don’t forget Avocado Inipit (S$3.80), another Filipino dessert which sees pure avocado ice cream sandwiched between two layers of moist and fluffy mamon cake (Filipino-style sponge cake). Inipit will remind you of your primary school days where you would munch down on ice cream sandwiches by the ice cream van parked outside your school gate.

Avocadoria also offers more decadent desserts like the Dark Mocha Avocado Praline Cheesecake (from S$19.80) and Avocado Ice Cream Cheesecake (from S$16.80) which would make for really good guilt-free desserts that you can binge on with your friends or family.

Why don’t you give these avocado desserts a try the next time you pass by AMK Hub?
