This popular pet-friendly cafe chain is arriving in the West at Jurong Lake Gardens with their biggest outlet yet, featuring exclusive dishes like Guacamole Sandwich, Seared Sea Bass and more

Even if you don’t reside in the West, you should do yourself a favour and visit the newly refurbished Jurong Lake Gardens.

Having undergone renovations for the past five years, Jurong Lake Gardens has officially reopened just a few days ago. Visitors can now look forward to new attractions like an edible garden and waterfall.

However, if you need any more reasons to head on down, let Canopy be the perfect excuse. For both parents and pawrents, you should be familiar with this cafe as it’s popular for being family and pet-friendly.

With outlets in town and the East, it’s time for Canopy to expand into the West and it’s doing so sometime this September 2024.

While I’m not sure of the exact dates, I guess it’s anytime soon as you can already make reservations for the outlet (the kiasu in me is relieved).

Similar to their other outlets, Canopy Jurong Lake Gardens will feature both indoor and al fresco dining spaces. I can foresee the outdoor spaces being especially popular. I mean, who could resist dining with gorgeous lake views as the backdrop?

There’s something new though, which is the in-house hydroponic farm. Sounds fancy but it’s essentially an indoor farm that grows seasonal greens and herbs for the cafe. As such, you’re getting only the freshest of ingredients in your meals.

Other new features are the outlet-exclusive dishes. As someone who loves all things avocados (yes, I’m one of those people), I’ll dive straight in for the Guacamole Sandwich (S$17). Cheese lovers will no doubt feel content with the Grilled Sandwich (S$17).

For something more filling, opt for The Breakfast Platter (S$20), which you can’t go wrong with scrambled eggs, pork sausages, pumpkin wedges, sourdough bread, and mixed salad.

Brunch ends at 2pm, but if you can’t make it, no worries — their all-day menu will have you covered.

Dig into mains such as the Seared Sea Bass (S$27) and Oven Baked Barbecue Ribs (S$29). For those coming in groups, y’all can share the Popcorn Shrimps (S$18) and Salted Egg Fries (S$16).

Who’s ready for a pawsome dining experience?
