Fans of Dome Bakery’s fudging good brownies, rejoice! After multiple pop-ups, the popular home-based bakery has finally opened a proper brick-and-mortar store along South Bridge Road. The area is no stranger to cafés, but this particular store is a prime example of how not all bakes are created equal.
The tiny four-seater store will feature a large selection of bakes as well as coffee. You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to the signature blackout brownies — expect flavours like Matcha Macadamia (S$6.50), Smoked Sea Salt (S$6) and Raspberry Chocolate (S$6.50).
Crowd favourites also include the Biscoff Cookie Brownie (S$6.50) and Dark Chocolate Brownie (S$6).
As you sink your teeth into the delectable little brown squares, one bite of their oozy-fudgy goodness is all you need to understand the hype surrounding them.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve never had brownies like these before — so if you want to try as many flavours as possible, you can opt for the Fudging Good Brownie Box of 6 for S$33. That’s a downright steal if you ask me!
Can’t get enough of the molten fillings? Dome Bakery’s menu also features the Dark Chocolate Lava Muffin (S$5, or S$18/4pcs). These muffins are known to be deliciously soft and moist with an oh-so rich and bittersweet chocolate-y centre.
Of course, one of the best accompaniments to such rich goodies is coffee. You’ll find the standard café offerings like White Coffee (from S$5), Dirty Matcha (from S$6.50) and Mocha (from S$6). Plus, you can also choose from an assortment of teas (S$4) like English Breakfast and Chamomile.
While the café is not halal-certified, all ingredients used are halal, making them Muslim-friendly.
