Open-air cinema Films At The Fort returns to Fort Canning Green this August with award-winning films & whisky cocktails

Throughout the years, we’ve seen some pretty great outdoor movie venues in Singapore, where we’re able to indulge in our favourite films at the beach, under the stars, and even up in the sky (at 56-storeys high).

Adding to the growing list of open-air cinema options, Films At The Fort is back this year, in collaboration with Glenffidich, with tickets on sale for their specially curated film programme.

Held from 3 to 20 August 2023 in the historic natural amphitheatre at Fort Canning Green, this is where you’ll be able to watch 11 award-winning festival films from Cannes, Sundance, the Academy Awards and nostalgic classics.

Make it a sunset picnic and movie date with your partner or friends, arrive early (gates open at 5.30pm), kick back and relax as the sun goes down. Feel free to bring your own cushions or picnic mats (no chairs are allowed), or rent a comfy back-rest.

As you chill amidst the gorgeous hilltop settings, indulge in food with a drink in hand as you vibe to live music played by the DJ and instrumentalists before the film screenings at 7.45pm.

You can look forward to a full menu of dinner, desserts and snacks by The Providore, along with a fully stocked bar with tipples like cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks — so your movie under the stars is complete with anything you might need for the best time.

Each ticket also comes inclusive of a refreshing Glenfiddich cocktail or two non-alcoholic drinks.
