The plating, the appearance, the taste – 10 out of 10. A must-try appetiser is the Capasanta e N’Duja (S$36), pan-seared Hokkaido scallops with well-seasoned Calabrian mashed potatoes and crispy splanata.

We tried Radiatori al Pomodoro e burrata (S$32), built around house-made radiatori and soft burrata, with hints of fresh citrus and herby basil oil. The distinctive pasta shape, made from scratch every morning and refreshing tomato-based flavour profile elevated the eating experience. Easily my personal favourite! Another unique pasta worth trying next is Carota Carota Carota (S$30), entirely carrot-based, with carrot jus, crisp carrot, and carrot-leaf pesto – talk about carrot overload.

Not into red or white sauces? There’s another way. The Aglio Olio e Gamberi (S$32) might be your next obsession. It has a creamier texture than the classic Aglio Olio, featuring house-made spaghetti tossed in a silky butter emulsion and paired with fresh tiger prawns. My recommendation for this? Devour it yourself! For a heavier pasta, the Tuccu ‘Genovese’ (S$36) features a 24-hour wine-braised Wagyu chuck roll ragout, coating the hand-shaped pici pasta with a deep, savoury flavour.

We watched the Tonno e Cipolla Bianca (S$36) come together behind the scenes, and my mouth watered. Topped with yellowfin tuna tartare and raw onions, it had a surprisingly pleasant, flavourful taste, with pickled onion gel for a hint of sweetness. If we had the stomach space, we would’ve tried the Pumpkin Speck e Fontina Noci (S$36) – another new addition to the menu.

All meals end with a sweet note, and the Millefoglie Alla Ciliegia (S$16) is a lovely one. Delicate layers of pastry sandwich a mascarpone cherry custard, then pair it with macerated strawberry and a lemon cherry sauce for a slight tang that keeps it from feeling too heavy. It’s a light, bright finish to a rich meal, and one we’d happily order again.
