The Music of STUDIO GHIBLI Original Singers Symphony

Fans of Japanese animation and orchestral music, immerse yourself in the world of Hayao Miyazaki’s Studio Ghibli soundtrack. This June 2025, the concert is making its Singapore debut at The Star Theatre.

The one-night-only concert brings together the original singers, voice talents, and a live orchestra from Japan to serenade you with classics from some of Studio Ghibli’s most beloved films. 

Look forward to hearing songs from classics such as My Neighbour Totoro and Princess Mononoke, almost as if you were within the movies themselves.

Nine Puzzles: Decoded

If you grew up on the BBC’s Sherlock Holmes series, you’ll love this one. The game is afoot at Nine Puzzles: Decoded, an immersive murder mystery pop-up at Plaza Singapura. 

Based on the original K-Drama series Nine Puzzles, this limited-time experience is only available until 10 June 2025. 

Live out your detective dreams at the nine interactive stations, where you’ll be tasked to look for clues, scrutinise the crime scene, and find a mysterious murderer.  

Are you a profiler or a suspect? Find out at the final station, where you’ll receive a personalised ID card or mugshot.

Lilytopia

Italy may be a stretch for a weekend getaway, but the charm of Venice is coming straight to you at Gardens by the Bay with Lilytopia.

Float across the canals of La Serenissima as the scent of lilies in full summer bloom transports you to the charming Venice. In the Flower Dome, stroll through the Italian alleys with lilies lining the cobblestone path.

GastroBeats 2025

Singapore’s largest music and food festival is back with a bang, so let’s get you up to speed on what to expect when you’re there. 

This year, Gastronomes will be spoilt for choice by GastroBeats 2025’s 42 food stalls. While your wallet might be crying and empty, we’re sure your stomach will be satiated and full.

Entertainment-wise, there’s Solace Diner, Singapore’s first American diner-themed photo booth. 

And putting the beats in GastroBeats is the immersive experience Rewind. Replay. Remix: SG Edition (R3), which hits all the right notes with its interactive zones and photo spots.

Asia’s leading light festival, i Light Singapore, is back this year with 17 new light installations. For the first time, there will be installations along our iconic Singapore River and Raffles Place.

Standard Bun Pop-Up

It’s time to raise your standards when it comes to the baked goods department, as Standard Bun is opening its very first pop-up in Singapore this month.

For every eight buns purchased, redeem a free soft serve. While the dates for this specific promotion aren’t confirmed yet, keep a lookout here for updates.

Reminiscent of our beloved Rotiboy, Standard Bun is also famous in Seoul for its Mocha Bun (S$3.90). 

Get a taste of their dessert buns in over 25 flavours, including the Salt Mocha Bun (S$4.20) and Milk Cream Bun (S$5.80). 

The bakery chain is also famed for its house-aged maple butter (S$2.90). This unique butter is stored in glass jars in-house and sold separately (feel free to spread it all over your pastries at home, we won’t judge).

Jurassic World: The Experience

It’s looking like a roaring good time at Gardens by the Bay with Jurassic World: The Experience. Watch out for life-sized dinosaurs and ancient plants alongside the dazzling greenery of the iconic Cloud Forest. 

Meet baby dinosaurs in the interactive Petting Zoo and brush up on your dinosaur knowledge with this prehistoric adventure, promising a dino-mite day for all ages.

The closing date hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s best to book a ticket here before slots run out.

Pop Air by Balloon Museum

Kill two birds with one stone with a day of fun and art appreciation.

The Balloon Museum’s highly anticipated exhibition Pop Air is finally hitting our shores with its larger-than-life inflatable art. Expect to be wowed by large-scale inflatable installations, dynamic light displays, and interactive artworks.

Wiggle Wiggle In The Sky

The world’s first-ever Wiggle Wiggle-themed observation world experience has landed in the Singapore Flyer, and here’s what you should look out for.

If you’re unfamiliar with the name, Wiggle Wiggle is a Korean lifestyle brand known for its bold and playful aesthetic. 

Step into a whimsical wonderland with five Wiggle Wiggle-themed capsules, each decorated in a different vibrant colour scheme. For 30 minutes, enjoy panoramic views of our Lion City before heading down to the retail pop-up stores for merchandise, including Singapore-exclusive items starting from July 2025.

Don’t forget to check out the PickyPic photobooth, where you can take home two photostrips for S$10.

Or, snap a free photo with the six-metre Wiggle Bear at the Singapore Flyer entrance.

A single ticket costs S$50, but grab a friend to redeem their two-person package for S$90.

Central Thai Buffet

With restaurants closing every week, it’s rare to find a spot that stands the test of time. Against all odds, Central Thai proves its worth with its tenth anniversary. To celebrate, they’re opening Singapore’s first halal-certified Thai buffet at Changi Airport Terminal 3.

The buffet has over 30 signature dishes such as Steamed Seabass, Cereal King Prawns, Tom Yum Soup, Stir-Fried Glass Noodles, and more. Every diner also gets to enjoy free-flow Thai Milk Tea, Ice Lemon Tea, and Ice Cream. 

On weekdays, dine at S$39.90 during lunch and S$44.90 for dinner. However, weekend meals are priced at S$49.90.

If you have children, you’re in luck. Kids under 100cm eat for free, while kids under 135cm get a 50% discount.

Korean skincare brand Sulwhasoo is hosting a limited-time cafe pop-up at Sofitel Singapore City Centre. In line with its anti-ageing products, the food available boasts healthy ingredients such as ginseng, collagen, jujube, and Nashi pear.

Choose from the Two-Course Set Menu (S$45++), the Three-Course Set Menu (S$65++), or the A la Carte Items (starting from S$19++). 

Dishes include the Black Sesame and Ginseng Samyetang Pao Fan (S$26) and Blackened Salmon with Clam Doenjang (S$38).

You can even redeem free beauty gifts with a minimum spend.

One Piece Pop-Up Cafe

Anime fans, you’ll love this one — Singapore’s first official One Piece cafe is here at Esplanade’s ANIPLUS cafe.

Set sail on the epic voyage of the Straw Hat Crew with themed food. Luffy’s Straw Hat Crew Meal features turmeric rice shaped as the iconic straw hat. There will also be a wide array of desserts and drinks, including hot chocolate with themed stencil art.

A little tipple can do no wrong, especially at The Coach Bar on Keong Siak Road.
