Get whisked away to Mandai Rainforest Resort that has pod-shaped treehouses, indoor attractions, and guided nature walks in 2025

I’m sure most of us here would have visited the Singapore Zoo or River Safari at one point in our life (if you haven’t, are you living under a rock?)

Anyways, I know how difficult it can be to part with the animals at the end of the day, but what if I told you that you could actually spend more time with them?

Mandai Rainforest Resort — set to open in the first half of 2025 — is a nature sanctuary that invites you to rest, relax, and recharge away from the hustle and bustle.

It will be situated in the midst of the five wildlife parks like Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders, Bird Paradise, and the upcoming Rainforest Wild (so it’s super convenient for you to pay the animals a visit whenever you desire).

This calming resort seeks to connect guests with nature by integrating the four-storey building with the surrounding environment.

As such, you can look forward to 24 elevated seed pod-shaped treehouses and a grand total of 338 rooms including standard and family rooms with a dedicated loft bed and children’s corner.

The treehouses will be nestled within nature and it boasts a stunning view of the Upper Seletar Reservoir — you might even spot a furry friend passing whilst chilling in your room, perhaps?

Besides the guest rooms, there are other facilities like a ballroom, meeting rooms, gym, swimming pool, specialty restaurant and all-day dining.

I can see it being a cosy retreat for families to bring the young ones, especially during the holidays if you don’t wish to travel overseas

It’s certainly a unique way to switch up the usual daycation.

Although the resort will be built in nature, it still remains eco-friendly and mindful of its surrounding environment.

The entire building is elevated above ground to allow native wildlife to move across the site and uses energy saving measures like natural ventilation.

But, if you want to fully immerse yourself with nature, there will be plenty of wildlife parks and nature-themed indoor attractions to do while you’re there.

Learn about the native flora and fauna through the specially curated programme of activities: guided nature walks, hands-on activities, behind-the-scenes programmes and so much more.

If you can’t already tell, there is so much to do at this oasis with activities and experiences that everyone can enjoy regardless of their age. This article will be updated with more information when the resort launches, stay tuned!
