Looking for some activities to keep the entire family entertained this weekend? Marina Square might have just what you’re looking for. Taking place from 21 to 23 April 2023, the MarinAlive fair will feature a host of exciting activities that will keep your kids busy while you shop.

Located at the outdoor link bridge at Level 2 between Marina Square and Millenia Walk, the MarinAlive fair is held in conjunction with Earth Day — which coincidentally happens to be on 22 April 2023. The market will feature over 19 booths with activities that promote eco-literacy and environmental advocacy.

Your little ones will have a splashing good time at the exciting toddler fishing pool where they can enjoy some waterplay while also learning about the little fishies that call the ocean their home. They’ll also get to play a game of bingo with the fishes they’ve caught — don’t worry, no live fishes are involved.

You can also send your kids for the Ocean-Theme Terracotta Pot Painting where they can unleash their creativity skills and paint their own terracotta pot. Even if your child hasn’t painted before, they can still take part in this activity and let their imagination run wild. Registration is required for this workshop and there is a fee of S$7 per participant. More details can be found here

There’s also interactive exhibits as well as fun hands-on workshops like the informative food workshop,  where you’ll get to create a take-home treat. Some of these workshops include the Sustainable Granola workshop (from S$9) and the “Tea”-riffic Create Your Own Tea Blend (S$35) workshop. Registration for the workshops can be made here

In the spirit of being environmentally-friendly (sustainable fashion is super trendy these days), there’s a clothes and toy swap for you to drop off some of your kids’ old clothes and toys. You’ll be able to earn credits which you can use to purchase anything on the spot. Do note that the items have to be in good working condition in order to qualify for the swap.

That’s not all that is happening. Marina Square members are in for a special treat as the mall is rewarding all Marina Square Rewards Members with a complimentary tote bag when you spend a minimum of S$80 in a single receipt or up to three same-day combined receipts.

Looking for something informative and engaging for your child? Head over to Marina Square this weekend!
