Those in the CBD looking for a midday pick-me-up can rejoice with Market at Maxwell. This humble storefront at the entrance of Maxwell Food Centre is making a splash with long queues not even a month since their opening.

Their lattes are hand-whisked and made only with matcha harvested during the first flush of the season, resulting in the vibrant green that we all know and love.

Choose from the Yuri (S$6.50), which hails from the sunny meadows of Mie, or AjiSai (S$7.50), a ceremonial grade matcha powder boasting a wonderful balance of nuttiness and umami.

For something different, try the Hojicha Latte (S$6.50) for some fragrant, roasted goodness.

Now, on to their specialty drinks! Market has perfected their Matcha Cloud Latte (S$6.50) for those who enjoy an extra milky drink. The light and creamy matcha foam is made fresh daily, and adds to the silky mouthfeel of the latte.

Spice it up with the Dirty Matcha Cloud (S$6.50), Strawberry Matcha Cloud (S$6.50), or even the Down Right Dirty (S$7.50) which has Hojicha mixed in.

There’s something for everyone here, as coffee lovers and still get their fix with coffee made from a Brazilian Single Origin Roast. These beans give off notes of chocolate and toffee, with a fresh note of fruit on the finish. It’s the perfect blend of nuttiness and acidity for your midday walk.

Get your classic Americano (Hot: S$5, Iced: S$5.50) or Latte (Hot: S$5.50, Iced: S$6) with a choice of Regular, Skinny, or Oat Milk (+S$1).

Not to mention, you can also pick up some Clean Matcha Waffles in true neighborhood bakery fashion. These waffles are made with less oil and less sugar (so you could sneak a couple more bites).

Choose from the Original Plain (S$2.50), Hazelnut Chocolate (S$3.50), Crunchy Peanut Butter (S$3.50), Signature Kaya and Butter (S$4), or the Hazelnut Chocolate and Strawberry Jam (S$4).

While Market at Maxwell doesn’t accept CDC Vouchers, you can definitely head on inside Maxwell Food Centre for stalls that do.
