Oh my oh my God — does this tune sound familiar? That’s right, it’s none other than NewJeans with their massive single O.M.G.
Great news! The NewJeans X LINE FRIENDS pop-up store in Orchard Central has officially opened! Bunnies, make sure to save the date and show up for your favourite members!
Taking place from 15 September to 23 November 2023, the NewJeans x LINE FRIENDS pop-up will feature a host of exclusive merch along with the girls’ own digital characters, ‘Buninis’. And in case you haven’t already guessed it, the pop-up store is a collaboration with LINE FRIENDS — the same folks who brought us the popular BT21 collection by BTS.
You can expect to see lots of pinks and baby blues decorating the store, along with the new generation of Powerpuff Girls — only the real fans will be able to get the reference. Since the girls’ latest album cover was Powerpuff Girls-themed, get ready to see loads of Powerpuff Girls merch from keychains (S$24), sticky note (S$10), t-shirts (S$62), and even embroidery patches (S$10).
Show some love for your bias of the group by collecting all the memorabilia of your favourite member — don’t need to feel Super Shy about it. There’s even notebooks (S$8), mouse pads (S$8) and phone accessories (from S$19) for you to shop here too. Since you’ve gotta pay for your plastic bags now when you’re out shopping, now’s your chance to get the New Jeans reusable shopping bag (S$14) so you can save that extra S$0.05!
Of course, you can also find anime-style posters of the girls, exclusive photo cards as well as ‘Bunini’ plushies, and even a Bunini face cushion (S$46)! If you’ve seen any of the pics of Buninis online, you’ll know just how irresistibly cute they are — especially the ones with them wearing the little uniform. OG fans will say Ditto to that.
Once you’re done shopping for your merch, it’s time to snap some pics. Don’t worry, the store will have plenty of cute photo spots for you to take pics with. If you’ve been to any of the LINE FRIENDS stores in Korea, you’ll be familiar with the gigantic brown bear that greets you at the entrance. Well, here you can expect to be greeted by a huge black-and-white mural on the wall, as well as a cotton candy pink photo spot with a cut-out of the girlies.
